The beach is on a rock, the water is crystal clear but deep, with warm and cold currents in places. You can rent a sunbed and an umbrella, as there is a tavern right on the beach, the staff is responsive and the prices are normal. There is a large parking lot, but in the summer season it fills up quickly. The beach is definitely worth a visit.
Limnionas Beach is truly a fantastic spot with a unique experience and breathtaking views. While the water entrance can be a bit tricky—steep and slippery—bringing water shoes can be helpful, though I personally didn’t find them necessary. The beach is great for snorkeling, but do watch out for the rocks and underwater obstacles, as the current can sometimes push you towards them.
Parking is possible by the road, but if you arrive early, there is a nice parking area available. We opted for a sunbed, and it was well worth it, especially since the place started filling up quite quickly. I’d recommend getting there around 9 a.m. to grab the best spots, or by 10 a.m. to still find a spot on a sunbed.
Crystal clear waters. Scenery is wild and pure. Access to the water is steep but not something special. You have to be careful and steady. Kids after 9 years old can do it on their own.. For those who do not attempt a jump into the sea, there is a natural sliding rock.
I would suggest bringing your own coffee or sandwich or whatever and spend 1-2 hours in the sea and that’s all. Try to avoid sunbeds and tavern, as they are not famous for their kindness and professionalism. So, 5 stars for the scenery and the sea and one star for the parking.
Very good place, loved it. Perfect for snorkel and small fishes to spot. The access to the water is not so easy, and it has deep (2-3m) waters.
There is a free parking, but it might be full, so, if you find a spot on the road, go for it!
You will need to walk and there is stairs. Also, there is a amazing restaurant over there.
Stunning location,
It get busy and parking could be a pain, sea shoes are ideal if you have flippers and snorkel you should take them because theirs a cave you can swim in two which is pretty cool to see it’s around 200 yards away if that but be warned it could be hard for some people to swim back.
You could spend a few hours here as you can hire sun beds and eat at the cafe/bar
We got there at 2pm I think it’s worth going first thing in the morning before it’s over crowded.
