  1. Due to COVID everything is different so my review will be basedEverything only on facility and comfort. Location is perfect! Everithing is nearby: city center and the beach, but to be true, Chanioti is a small city so everything is on 5-10minutes walk.
Next to the hotel is Chirch so on Sundays (and other orthodox Christian hollydays) chirch bells and singing will wake you up at 8am. On the other hand, on the ground of the hotel there is a restoran/coffe bar so in the evening you can hear the music up to 12 o’clock and weekend evening can be very loudly. Everything in the city works until 12 o’clock and after music and croud calms down.
Hotel staff are nice and helpful. Rooms are clean. Due to COVID, towels and sheets are on demand which was ok. Cleaning too. During our stay we didn’t have much of the “hotel service” so it was odd.
Size of the rooms are smaller than expected, not fully comfortable. The terase too. Rooms are furnished very simply and only basic stuffs. There is nothing of home small appliances like hair dryer or electric kettle. There is small refrigerator and air conditioner which are in very good condition – works excellent.
Again, I’m emphasising that my stay was in COVID time so I can tell anything more about service which could be differently in normal situation.

  2. Worst hotel ever. Do not, under any circumstances, stay here!
If a travel agency offers you this hotel, then you’d better NOT BUY anything from this travel agency. They are shameless.

Last summer I had to stay in this hotel. Disgusting experience.

The food is so awful that I had stomach problems on the second day. If you see what people work in the kitchen and in what conditions they work, you would never touch the food. One of them was sick and all of them were sweaty, because there was no air conditioning in the kitchen.

The room that we stayed in was small even for a person alone and the room was advertised as “double”.

The cleaning lady really wants to enter the room at 14:00 in the afternoon. She continuously bangs on the door until you open to tell her that you dont want the room cleaned at 14:00 while you are sleeping (and you have to explain it well, because she knows only greek).

There are no towels, provided by this hotel.

The worst thing was that there was a strong GAS LEAK right next to our room. Awful smell of gas… you can always recognize it correctly. And that happened in the middle of the summer. It is a miracle that we are still alive. NEVER, EVER, stay in this hotel. We moved on first chance.

And, btw, I did not mention that the hotel is managed by an awful guy (manager) and his son. They keep it cool – their staff is scre*ed, their guests are scre*ed – in the meantime they relax until somebody complains about something. Then they do a brief effort to silence him or her by explaining some total BS like “we dont have big towels, because people use them to go to the beach”.

This place should be closed by at least 5 greek agencies for sanitary reasons, inhumane working conditions, etc.

Do not go there! You have been warned!

  3. worst place ever! our room was not cleaned for 4 days, not even the trash taken out. the food was the awful: old and smelly and there was a bartender that was measurung how much food one should take. The quality of the food was as low as it can get. The owner and personel had nacionalist attitude toward the Macedonians! Because of this place I never wanna go in Hanioti again!!
Dont waste ur money and time on this place!!!

  4. Nice place with great sea view.. easy access to the hotel through maps.fairly decent size rooms but with no hanger for swimwear and towels. Very friendly staff and happy to assist. They didnt clean the room at all the whole time coz they mentioned covid 19 which I found it weird. We were asking for towels etc or anything else we needed.. but it was more than fine for a long weekend

  5. The breakfast was always the same, overcooked eggs, and some cheap cheese. The dinner was sometimes edible. Bland spaghetti and greassy tasteless chicken drumsticks. The rooms are clean at least. Would not recommend.
