  1. Lovely square in Corfu
    Plakada
    or otherwise “Plakada t’Agiou” as it is called by the locals, is a small, picturesque square located very close to the church of Agios Spyridon, with the beautiful traditional scenery of the Old Town dominating. The holy church of the Most Holy Theotokos Faneromeni of Xenos, dating from 1689, is also located at the site.

  2. This is Plakada t’Agiou square, one of the most central and historic points of old town, close to the Saint Spyridon big church. At this place there are also the holy Temple of Yperagia Theotokos of Xenon (Our Lady of Foreigners) (early 18th century) and Saint John Church. You can watch at this square many happenings of all sorts, musical, theatrical, artistic paintings etc, or you can have a coffee and perhaps a good dinner !
