Beautiful beach with fine white sand and crystal clear waters. Parking space very close to the beach’s entry point. There were some sun beds but we didn’t use them so no info on prices. There were lots of trees along the beach that offer cool shade.
(!) Make sure you get supplies with you i.e. water, coffee, food etc. there were no supermarkets or shops within short walking distance from the beach.
Really beautiful beach, with pristine waters and plenty of area for people to relax and place their belongings on the sand. There are also many umbrella rentals available, and also restaurants which line the beach (highly recommend Petrino’s). Best of all, there is a bus service that serves the entire beach, and u-turns at Plaza Hotel.
Gorgeous beach! Nice sand and clear water. 2 chairs with an umbrella cost €30; free parking just outside the beach. There is a stand that sells drinks from €5-10. Beautiful place to spend a few hours.
Plaka is really an extension of Maragakas beach, more south and less crowded. The further south you go the less inhabited it is. The sand is beautiful, water blue and here are some nice bars/restaurants around. At the southern end there is nudist section just fyi.
Beautiful, crystal clear water. Went when it was a bit windy and still enjoyed it. Was quite a bit of parking around as well. Would be nice if there were more chairs and umbrellas up for grabs
