By all means, the best food in Rhodes.
After a week of trying multiple restaurants, we came back to this little place in Rhodes old town for a final dinner.
It’s a plain place, almost street food, yet with table service.
The Greek salad was the best we had all week. Fresh, crisp ingredients, generously topped with super tasty Feta cheese.
And the Gyros… It’s easy to get Gyros in these parts of the world, but it’s pretty challenging to get the quality and in such a large portion.
For those of you who love food, that is the place.

Thanks very much to the Katerina who served me she was really kind, I got in a panic about getting back for the bus and she kindly boxed my food up for me to go. And let me use the toilet. It’s all outdoor seating under the shade of the awning, with a view of the streets of the old town. Great portion sizes and price, quite a few vegetarian options and meal deals with beer or soda available.
**Disappointed with Spare Ribs Portion Size**
“I recently revisited this restaurant, drawn back by fond memories of a great dining experience I had. Unfortunately, my excitement turned into disappointment when I ordered the spare ribs that had left a lasting impression on me.
While I understand that prices may have increased over time, I was taken aback by the substantial decrease in portion size compared to what I remembered. Priced at 17 euros now (up from 12 euros in the past), the spare ribs felt overshadowed by the generous serving of French fries, making the dish seem unbalanced and lacking in value.
The disparity between the portion size presented on the menu and what was served was quite noticeable, leaving me feeling let down. As someone who values both ambiance and food quality, I hope that this feedback can prompt a reevaluation of portion sizes to better align with customer expectations.
While the overall experience didn’t meet my expectations this time, I believe that constructive feedback can contribute to improving future visits for all customers. I appreciate the efforts put into maintaining high standards and hope to see adjustments in place that will enhance the dining experience.
