  1. This is a motel and not a hotel, remote location, outdated rooms, ceiling is so low! My husband hit his head every time he went to bathroom!
There are key locks with no other safety locks in place. Our first room had no windows!
The front office/ breakfast area/checking all one small area with shabby furniture. Staff are nice .
Location too far, beach is nice but not much going on, expect to pay $45 euro for a trip to town.
We changed our hotel to a much nicer one. Very disappointed

  2. The hotels room was nice and spacious and the view was beautiful but that was it the service was terrible the food was overpriced and awful and the breakfast was like a generic motel 6 continental breakfast. There is nothing near the hotel so you have to spend 80 euros for a round trip taxi to Mykonos town. And we had to check out at 11 and sit outside and wait for 3 hours for our driver to take us to the ferry at 2:00 and then when we checked out we were charged for a meal we did not have and tried to explain we weren’t here that day and they called the waiter the the bell boy and whoever else they could ask.and finally after an hour of arguing they said they will give me a credit … we will see if it post! Never again the service was unacceptable

  3. This is a amazing location. Watching the sun rises every morning were absolutely spectacular. You don’t necessarily have to have a room with a view just about everyone has a porch or some way to access the view. The staff there was always helpful and friendly I really enjoyed their honesty. They had two other really good restaurants within walking distance and access to a beautiful beach. We rented a car from the front desk had it delivered had our own parking spot the whole time we were there and just dropped the keys off at the front desk when we were done. They really went overboard with their service.

  4. Did someone say “What a view!”? If not, they should have…. 3 night stay at the beginning of October, the end of the season. The resort is perched on the East side on a hill above the beach. Wonderful sunrises, and the moon! Location for view and beach is the best. A couple nearby food choices, otherwise everything else is a little distance. If you like to walk like we do, be prepared – the uphill is killer….

On to the resort itself. The staff were all very wonderful, pleasant and did most everything with a smile on their face. Being end of season, one could see the possibility of being worn out ready for time away from tourists but they all seemed to still be enjoying the experience right along with us.

The rooms are sufficient, bed was comfortable in our room. We were lucky enough to get a room with a double window door so we had a view even if huddled inside (not all rooms have a view from inside although they all face one and have a small open patio to enjoy it on). The bathroom really is the only downfall. Ours had a tub shower, no curtain. Now that doesn’t bother us, but you have to be a little mindful of spray. The bigger issue was the shower head, it was wand style, but the overhead holder would not hold it. It would not tighten enough to do so. I was able to Jerry-rig something to make it work, but it’s definitely not a long term fix. Overhearing other guests, this seemed to be a common theme among many rooms. Lighting on the bathroom was also very limited and a supposed common issue. Our room has a floor lamp and I just moved it into the bathroom for my wife to get ready. If your one that spends a lot of time in the bathroom, just something to bear in mind. It was all still fairly clean even if it was a little dated. I’ve come to expect the occasional rust on fixtures in rooms on islands – just something that happens over time with the salty warm air.

Breakfast was a modest selection of eggs (scrambled and boiled), ham bacon, small sausages, breads, cereal, yogurt, apples, a cheese pie, cheese and meat with your choice of tea, coffee, orange juice, water. Oh, they also had some warmed small croissants that were my absolute favorite 🙂 .

We had dinner at the resort one night and it was very well presented and good, so if you have a night where you don’t want to venture, you wouldn’t be disappointed in our opinion.

All in all a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay here again. The view and the staff will make you forget just about anything else!

  5. This place is magical! Service is great, such a welcoming and nice team. The location is the most unique, rooms, each detail, no words to describe.
Breakfast is in the restaurant which has an outstanding view, with a nice selection of food.
Thank you for everything, Pietra e Mare!
Looking forward to coming back for our next vacation
