You should make it a winebar!
We went there for food. Actually we had made a reservation serveral weeks ahead. When we got there, the place was completely empty – we were the only costumers the whole Night.
Atmosphere was great. The view amazing. A really nice first impression. Menu looked good. A bit pricey, but we are willing to pay a bit extra for some good food.
But… The food was not good at all. Tastless and nothing special.. Not worth the price. Not even if it was half the price.
The highlight of the night was definitely the wines! Oh wow, they were great!
We had four different glasses and all of them were excellent!
So.. my advice for PHILIA is to make it a winebar. Your wine selections are on point, but the food can’t live up to the quality of the wines..
Skip the “fine dine”, serve some simple snacks and keep doing what you are doing with the wines!
Then people will come and have a lovely time 🍷🇬🇷
A must visit when you are in Samos! The tuna was perfectly cooked. The Chardonnay wine from a young local vineyard was amazing. Great service too!
Unique dishes that we enjoyed very much! Quick and kind service, totally worth the price. Gives you a great view on the harbour, but without the busy crowds.
I’ve never posted any review on the web about restaurants but thought that PHILIA (aka Wander by Paris) was definitely worth to start! First, if you are going to Samos (or even living on the island), you MUST visit Kokkari, then you NEED to go meet Niki & Vassilis and discover their wonderful cuisine! 🍽 The two French-Greek owners – slow food enthusiasts – have created a concise & inspiring menu, organic & locally sourced, with natural wines from their own production, to help you explore the best flavours you can expect in Samos 🇬🇷 PHILIA is definitely a not to be missed place if you want to experiment unique food, far from the common paths, with a real chef signature & philosophy which is rare on the island.

Best restaurant in Samos, you can’t miss it if you’re in Kokkari. They have a super nice selection of natural wines, and the service is amazing.
