I stayed with my 2 children in a triple room.
The rooms was rather small but nice ad clean.
The balcony was over viewing the street and at time noisy.
The bathroom was fine but the shower box small (i am not big).
The pool was large and clean and the area around very well kept.
The hotel has the resort feeling which is not my style.
The clientele was mainly German and the staff spoke better German then english.
I was even welcome with a “guten tag”; it is fine when I am in Germany but in Greece I like something more authentic.
The best place to stay in Kalamaki.
Spotless, neat, good sized rooms, welcoming; lovely staff, good breakfast, beautiful pool and terrace area. Nothing not to like, and because it doesn’t have a high star rating it was much nicer than we had anticipated. We will definitely be going back, for a longer stay next time!

I can’t understand why this hotel is only rated 2 stars! It deserves at least 3 stars, if not 4. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the pillows are perfect—not too fluffy or too soft, which is a big deal for me. Our room had a fantastic view of the pool and a large balcony. The bathroom was a decent size, unlike many others that tend to be small. And the power shower? Absolutely loved it!
The location is ideal, just a 2-minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, which offer a great variety of fish, seafood, and meat dishes. Each room has a fridge, excellent air conditioning, and a smart TV. Breakfast includes fresh meats and cheese, or you can choose hot options like omelettes.
We enjoyed this hotel so much that we extended our stay by two nights. We initially planned to stay in Matala but found Kalamaki to be a hidden gem and one of our best discoveries ever. While Matala is nearby if you want to visit, we preferred the quieter, more relaxed atmosphere of Kalamaki. In my opinion, the beach here is much better. We might just make this our regular destination.
The hotel is nice, have a pool and it is 10 min to the beach. Unfortunately in our room the air conditioner was not working and it was really hot, when we open the window the people in bar were too loud and we couldn’t sleep well. In general you can hear everything going on in the hotel. The next day when we complain the only answer we got was OK 🙁
It’s not on the beach, but one of the few truly nice hotels in kalamaki.
