While the room was spacious and clean, and the jacuzzi was cleaned daily, the bathroom could have used a big glow up: leaky shower, lots of rust and limescale deposits.
Even though they advertise, on their own site, that the deluxe room will have a rain shower, bathrobe and slippers and a coffee maker, all these things were not present in the room.
When addressing these issues the only response was “oh, the website shouldn’t say that, since obviously those aren’t in your room”.
All in all a decent hotel in a nice location. But not completely what we booked.
I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel offers great views, though it’s worth noting that it does not feature the iconic caldera view some might expect. The overall setting is still very enjoyable and adds to the appeal of the stay.
One important consideration is that a car is definitely needed to get around the area, as the hotel is somewhat remote. This makes it easier to explore the surroundings and visit local attractions. The complimentary breakfast provided was a nice touch. While it was good and satisfying, it didn’t stand out as extraordinary. Laundry service is available if needed.
I give this hotel and the entire team Big 5 Stars!!
Beautiful rooms, modern appliances, well-kept, phenomenal views of the Ocean, very clean…super nice friendly service from the front desk to the airport pick up…. … Met the owners too, great family the takes pride in keeping their property top-notch and they take excellent care of their customers…
It is an easy and quick drive to downtown, but you are in a more quiet area without all the noise … I highly recommend it
Two of my coworkers visited Santorini, one in mid-June and the other in early August. The coworker who went in June stayed in Santorini and strongly recommended taking buses instead of taxis since the taxi fare was as high as 60 euros (during the off-season). Another coworker who visited in August recommended renting a car near the airport.
As our trip approached, the hotel arranged a taxi for us, which cost around 35 euros. It was reasonably priced and allowed us to travel comfortably between the airport and our accommodation. Since we only needed a car for two out of the five days of our trip, renting a car at the airport would have been too expensive. So, we asked the hotel, and they arranged a rental car for two days at 110 euros. The car was conveniently delivered to and picked up from the hotel. In August, it’s very hot, and there’s no shade at the bus stops, so traveling around Santorini by bus can be quite exhausting. Thanks to the hotel’s affordable and convenient car rental service, we had a very comfortable trip.
We were initially concerned about being overcharged since Santorini is a popular tourist destination, but the taxi and car rental services provided by the hotel were all reasonably priced. I highly recommend trusting this hotel.
We had pre-booked a boat tour online, but the service was so good that we regretted not booking with the one recommended by the hotel.
Breakfast was also delivered to our room at the scheduled time.
For those who prefer a place with a swimming pool, this might not be the best choice, but if you enjoy jacuzzis, I highly recommend staying here. Sitting in the warm water, feeling the cool breeze at night, and gazing at the flowers and stars made this place feel like a true paradise.
Another great advantage is that Fira and Imerovigli are close enough to walk to each other, making it easy to explore both areas on foot.
From the moment of booking this hotel it was superb. Had a few questions to ask, they always provided a prompt, detailed answer. The place itself is lovely, the staff are very welcoming and helpful, especially Apostolos who made sure we had everything we needed and helped us arrange anything we wanted to do. We arrived late, after room service hours but were still offered something to eat. I would recommend hiring a car, you get to explore the island fully €50 euros a day, you only need it for two days to visit most places. A take-away/cafe is a 5 minute walk called ilionos they were brilliant, they deliver to your room… we had pastries a few mornings from them and take away late one night. If you go to the shop the staff in there are lovely. Would definitely stay here again the location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the most beautiful restaurants and bars but quiet when you come back. Sun rise was breath taking. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
