First things first: GET THE FRIED CHEESE! 🧀
It was such a lovely experience feeling very catered to. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about their olive oils, along with all the items on the menu. He helped us pick a perfect meal.
Everything was super fresh and unique. Their menu had items we haven’t seen in Crete before, but it was all extremely authentic.
The portions are huge, and value for quality is incredible!
A great experience overall.
A very nice restaurant located in a small street in Iraklio. Perfect atmosphere, nice service. The dishes varied in terms of quality though. The salad turned out to be just a mix of these with chickpeas mostly. Good but would hardly call it a salad. More like something that would go very well with meat product. The snails were amazing, very good flavor profile. The pasta was good, nice flavors but didn’t melt in my mouth. And finally, the biggest disappointment was the port that was just very dry. Overall, depends what you order. Would still recommend.
Definitely my favorite meal and eating experience of the whole trip!!! The lamb with rice was my favorite thing but also the close runner up with the traditional Cretan tomato egg dish. So good! And there was a cute cat! We made a reservation but we probably could’ve just walked in. Service was also great!
Service was great, all of the staff were friendly. We had the dolmades, aubergine with ancient grains, mushroom pasta and the honey thyme pork. Save room for strawberry cheesecake to finish with. Everything was delicious
I am confident saying this was the best restaurant I have been in Greece!
The ambiance was lovely, the cuisine was very fine, and the service was on top.
We did oil testing, tried the snails (100% recommend) and the smoked pork with honey (delicious).
You may need to reserve in advance as it is the best restaurant in Heraklio.
