Penelope restaurant is part of a bed and breakfast hotel. And the young couple, can’t remember 100%, but I think it was Dora, a lovely Danish lady and her Greek Partner I can’t remember his name, laid back funny gentleman who seemed to be running the show.
My wife ordered a club sandwich, and was told to order proper food the next time 😂, and I had the Kleftiko for the first time in my life. That dish was amazing. Reminded me of a Norwegian dish from my youth, but even better.
Dora recommended a bottle of white wine, and it suited the salty lamb dish perfectly
Lovely restaurant to have a meal and a few drinks, the food was excellent authentic Greek cuisines and the drinks made by Sebastian were delicious, if we ever come back to Rhodes we know where to go.
The place looks great, very creative and has lots of entertainment. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. And all of the staff was very nice and welcoming, definitely recommended from my experience.
We ate here twice in our week-long holiday staying just down the road. The guy who served us was very helpful and friendly. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name but I assume he is the owner. Food was excellent.
The food was wonderful and the waiter/barman was really nice and helped us improve our (limited) greek. There is a good choice of traditional greek dishes as well as the more routine foods for the less adventurous.
I think they suffer a bit with the location but are well worth a visit.
