Stephen Andrews, a previous guest, highly recommends the restaurant, which he describes as having superb food and excellent value.
The hotel’s location is another standout feature. Situated away from the hustle and bustle of tourist spots, it offers a more traditional and tranquil experience. However, easy accessibility by bus or car allows you to explore the island’s attractions conveniently. When travelers think of Santorini, the first image that often comes to mind is the iconic white-washed buildings perched on the edge of the caldera. However, beyond this main attraction, Paradise Resort Santorini is surrounded by a diverse range of experiences that are waiting to be explored. One such experience is the charm of the nearby villages. From the picturesque village of Oia with its cobblestone streets and stunning sunset views, to the traditional village of Pyrgos with its medieval castle and vineyards, each village offers its own unique charm and a glimpse into the local way of life.
For those seeking outdoor adventures, Santorini offers a wealth of scenic hikes. One particularly popular hike is the trail from Fira to Oia, which winds along the cliffside and offers breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Along the way, hikers can stop at traditional tavernas and enjoy local delicacies while taking in the beauty of the landscape. Another hike to consider is the trail from Perissa to Ancient Thera, where visitors can explore the ruins of an ancient city and enjoy panoramic views of the island.
Of course, no trip to Santorini would be complete without a visit to its pristine beaches. While the famous Red Beach and Kamari Beach are worth a visit, there are also several hidden gems that are worth exploring. One such beach is Agios Georgios, a secluded beach with crystal clear waters and a peaceful atmosphere. Another hidden gem is Vlychada Beach, known for its unique lunar-like landscape and dramatic cliffs. These less crowded beaches offer a tranquil escape from the tourist crowds and allow travelers to truly unwind and enjoy the beauty of the island.
Stepping off the beaten path in Santorini allows travelers to discover the island’s hidden gems that are often overlooked by tourists. One such hidden gem is the village of Megalochori, a charming village known for its traditional architecture and narrow alleyways. Here, visitors can wander through the maze-like streets and stumble upon hidden courtyards and local artisan shops. Another hidden gem is the island of Thirassia, located just a short boat ride away from Santorini. Thirassia offers a quieter and more authentic experience, with traditional tavernas, untouched landscapes, and a slower pace of life.
In conclusion, Paradise Resort Santorini not only offers a stunning base to explore the main attractions of the island, but also provides easy access to a diverse range of experiences beyond the beaten path. From exploring charming villages and embarking on scenic hikes, to indulging in the tranquility of pristine beaches and discovering hidden gems, there is something for every traveler to enjoy. So, why not step off the beaten path and immerse yourself in the beauty and charm of Santorini’s hidden treasures?

This is a great find. A lovely hotel and superb restaurant. The rooms have everything you need from lovely comfortable beds to nice quite nights sleeps. The hotel is laid out very well and gives you a great amount of privacy. The staff are very welcoming but will also leave you to your own devices. The food in the restaurant is superb and very reasonably priced in comparison to other local restaurants. Has a lovely pool and the surrounding areas beautiful. It’s a 3 star hotel and in my opinion exceeds this easily.
Area very traditional and well away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots but well accessible by bus or car. Bus stop across the road, supermarket opposite. 5 restaurants within 100m and more further away but easily walkable. We had a fantastic week here and wound love to visit again sometime.
If you come to the area you must go up to the castle cafe with it’s ancient building but with a superb cafe inside with some absolutely stunning views
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and enjoy the winter break!!
I have recently spent a week in this hotel along with some very close friends.
Hotel management and staff always polite and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Child friendly. We ate in the hotel several times and food was always good and hot.
Clean with everything you need.
Location was perfect with sea views, small supermarket, restaurants and other small shops. Easy bus service into the capital.
I recommend this hotel, I would definitely like to visit again.
This hotel is very bad. One of the worst I have ever used. I stayed in another two 3-star hotels in Greece and they were very good. This hotel doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
The bathroom had an unpleasant smell that went to the room. The toilet was either not well cleaned or not cleaned at all. There is mold in the bathroom. They didn’t give us shampoo nor soap. When I asked in the reception they just gave me soap. I could have dried my hair faster blowing with my mouth than using the hair dryer they provide (no joke). The fridge is very noisy at nicht. The breakfast is very simple and not tasty. The juice is artificial and very diluted, they don’t provide fresh fruits and the staff are not even friendly. The second day the coffee machine was broken. One of the staff almost broke the cereal jar out of rage.
The staff clearly don’t care. And based on the replies that this hotel has given to other complains similar to mine in google. They will clearly never improve.
DON’T BOOK HERE!!
