Visit July 2023. I travel a lot around the world and Panorama Hotel is the worst hotel I’ve been to in years. I am surprised that such bad standards can still be found in Europe. Rooms devastated, very old furniture. The clean sheets on the beds were covered with dirty blankets. The hotel is dirty and unpleasant, the area around the hotel is full of rubbish. In our room, the air conditioning didn’t work right from the beginning. After two days it stopped working at all. Within 15 hours of reporting this failure, staff were unable to either fix the air conditioning or provide another room. There were vacant rooms but not cleaned up after guests. We left the hotel after less than three days, even though it was paid for 6 days. I recommend avoiding this place with a wide berth.
This place was super cute, very authentic Greek hotel vibes. It is easily driveable from mykonos town (a 7 minute drive), but renting a car on Mykonos is necessary anyway, so it wasn’t an issue. The people who work at the hotel we’re so warm and welcoming, they made the whole experience so good! So many reccomendations and so much help with booking a car and reservations, they were a highlight. Would definitely come back!
Panorama Hotel got us out of a jam when needed so respect to them for that. Is cheap compared to everywhere else but it is reflected in the quality of the rooms. Rooms were extremely basic but all in all had beds and a locking door (except our bathroom door didn’t actually close). The place is located a long walk from town and is up on top of hill therefore difficult to walk to. And typical of Mykonos it was extremely windy at the top and could hear wind all night. Would kinda recommend staying here if you want to visit Mykonos on a tight budget and willing to walk into Mykonos town. There is a restaurant and store within a 5 minute walk which are both real nice.
I am leaving a review having seen the other bad reviews which I think are incredibly unfair. This simple, cheap hotel ticked all the boxes for me and therefore deserves 5 stars. I could check in at 4am, was informed of ferry information and got a 10 euro shuttle to the port at 9am. The reception staff were lovely when I woke them up to check in and departed offering advice.
If you need to be close to the port or need a pit stop for a bit, this is worth every penny. If you spend a tiny 60 euros on a hotel and they treat you this well, you’re money was well spent!
This hotel provides not only an elegant greek tradition style hotel, but the views are surreal ! the staff are wonderful, welcoming and very helpful. Steps away from the beach and coffee shops! I would highly recommend!!!!
