  1. Amazing views across the valley and the water. The food is authentic Greek and delicious. They also make authentic Samian tiganites with cheese or honey. They were the best we have tried on the island. The dolmades are homemade and amazing. The cheese dip is fantastic.

  2. This restaurant is the authentic gem of the island. It is very much home cooking style restaurant of which you need to know how to approach it.
Just turning up for a feed is not recommended. They are the specialist in slow cooked stuffed lamb. The meat falls off the bone. You will need to order this one day in advance. You will not eat better anywhere else.
    The appetisers are very authentic.
As someone who has been eating dolmades all their life (stuffed vine leaves), these are the best. I had to apologise to grandma and mom (rip) for telling them these were the best.
Unfortunately they were gone so quick I didn’t get a chance to take a photo.
I read a review stating they don’t care for tourists, this is not true if you know how these old school tavernas work.
A must try for authentic Greek food.
