Such a beautiful spot ( so close to the water) incredible views from each room (Balconies for each). Very very clean, & family who run it are really sweet. Our host was always floating around the place & ready to assist. It’s a small, intimate hotel. Breakfast at 10euro was amazing value. Couldn’t fault Panorama & especially awesome for the price.
Not sure why people earlier have complained about the size of the bathrooms ( they are often very small in Greece) & the road around the hotel – it’s a Greek island! It is sealed, but small and windy roads are standard on a greek island. We would also recommend hiring a small car for transport as you really need your own transport on the island. Thank you.
Beautiful views from rooms and a great price.
Things to consider are: 1) the road to the hotel is a very narrow unsurfaced road with a drop on one side, where you have to give way to two way traffic. Tricky driving. 2) you need a car for sure as there is only one place to eat in this area so you will need to drive to go anywhere. 3) there are lots of steps and you’ll need to manage your bags so that may not be suitable for some.
Overall some trade offs to make if you like a view and the price. The hotel overall is a bit run down but okay, expected for the price.
The service is very non existent. I saw the reception once when we checked in and never again. I’m not actually sure how you would contact them if you needed service or to book breakfast the next day.
I had some very unnecessarily tense interactions involving the wrong room type compared to the two beds I booked (and arguing with me on this), sending me passive aggressive emails about makeup on a towel (I think it was sunscreen, ok no biggie but odd). And when we left a day early so we could stay in town, the owner marked my whole booking as a no show on booking.com.
Absolutely no service. The receptionist wasn’t there after we checked in. There was no towel service or anyone to help us with our bags. The location is OK. If you decide to Uber to the hotel you are stuck there unless you want to walk 35 minutes to Plaka (where you can rent an ATV). Other than that, I would say this is probably the worst place I’ve ever stayed especially in Greece.
Clean rooms, amazing views, but No warm water in the shower for three days and the host not willing to sort it out. Not impressed by the breakfast and the amount paid.
Dangerous access, the road to get there was really narrow
The hotel is lovely. Great rooms, beach access and a lovely homemade breakfast. But the real charm and best part of the stay here is Despoina and her family. they are good Greek folks, hospitable, helpful and honest. We couldn’t have been more happy!
