It is located 500 meters off the road that leads from Apollonia to Vathi, and impresses with its exceptional architectural beauty and wonderful view of the village, the beach of Platis Gialos and the islet of Kipriani. Very interesting church dating in the Byzantine era. Fantastic views of the Platys Gyalos bay. Definitely worth a visit.
Words can’t describe the beauty of this spot. The monastery was built over 200 years ago. Best time of day to visit: at the crack of dawn, on a starry night or whenever you feel like. The view over the bay is spellbinding. If you are looking for an unforgettable place to have your wedding at, this is it. I did exactly that
