Stunning Rooms and Honeymoon Experience: Leanne Kelly had an amazing experience at the Olympic Palace, especially due to the lovely staff who went above and beyond. The adults-only room provided a perfect setting for a honeymoon. Additionally, the hotel staff ensured their room was beautifully set up for their arrival. The luxurious rooms and impeccable service make the Olympic Palace a fantastic choice for a romantic vacation.2. Abundance of Amenities and Lovely Staff: Alannah Burns appreciated the plethora of amenities provided by the hotel, including the spacious rooms, clean pool, and beach areas. The all-inclusive drinks menu offered a great variety. The staff was described as friendly and helpful. However, the service in the evening fell short, with delays in getting orders and poor table service at the rooftop bar. Overall, the hotel’s amenities are commendable though some areas could benefit from improved staff management.3. Family-Friendly Concerns: Luke Black expressed concerns regarding the hotel’s family-friendly environment. He felt the activities and pool for children were inadequate, and there was a lack of engaging programs throughout the day. Additionally, the extra charges for basic amenities, such as drinks during dinner, left a negative impression. The gym facilities were also found to be insufficient. Families seeking a hotel that caters specifically to children’s needs may need to explore other options.4. Questionable All-Inclusive Package: Tom Levi noted some disappointments with the all-inclusive package offered by the Olympic Palace. Several amenities, such as access to restaurants and room service, were only available for guests who booked a minimum of 7 nights. The spa services incurred additional charges, leaving guests feeling that the package did not cover as much as expected. The limited drink options and lack of food availability after 21:00 may inconvenience young guests. The all-inclusive package may not be as comprehensive as advertised.5. Racial Discrimination Concerns: Mary Geoghegan had a distressing experience at the hotel due to perceived racial discrimination. She and her family felt constantly monitored and encountered a hostile environment. Their concerns were not taken seriously by the management. Similar experiences were reported by other families of color. To ensure a peaceful and inclusive holiday, it is advisable to consider other accommodation options. Conclusion: The Olympic Palace Resort Hotel & Convention Center in Rhodes, Greece offers a range of attractive features, including stunning rooms, excellent service, and a variety of amenities. While it has received positive feedback in certain areas, there are concerns about service quality, amenities for families, and all-inclusive package limitations. 1. Such an amazing place. All the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The adults only room we had was just amazing, and when we arrived it was all set up for us to enjoy our honeymoon. The lounge bar was our personal favourite out of all the bars in the hotel, and Paulina was really friendly, accommodating and AMAZING at making cocktails! The spa was lovely and the treatments we had were very enjoyable. There was always a variety of food in the restaurants and was very tasty! I would happily return to the Olympic Palace, I never wanted to leave!

  2. Lovely hotel with gorgeous and spacious rooms, nice clean pool and beach areas, great range of all inclusive drinks menu and really lovely staff.

Food was just okay, wouldn’t necessarily say 5 star hotel food and not a lot of options for fussy eaters. However the ice cream was really good!

Overall received extremely poor service, especially in the evening. Took ages to get drinks orders when eating and at a couple of points, we had finished our meals before drinks/water reached the table.

Same situation at the rooftop bar, wasn’t enough staff to cope as people were up at the bar and being told to sit down as there was table service, however a lot of people never actually seemed to get served at their table including us, even when we got the attention of the waiting staff.

Was also really disappointed at lunch as I was in the middle of grabbing some food as were a couple of others, and as I was finishing by getting some salad the chef told me it was closed so I basically only had some dry chicken and a few chips on my plate. As it wasn’t clear he was closing with people coming in and out, it would have been useful if they would have just closed off the area in the first place or let me finish getting some salad whilst it was still all out. He also came across really rude and barged past my friend one day at lunch.

Generally, I just think the hotel needs more staff as overall at the restaurants and bars, they just couldn’t seem to cope with the amount of people and orders which was really disappointing.

Lovely hotel but won’t be staying here again unfortunately and wouldn’t recommend to a friend ☹️

  3. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience my family and I had during our recent stay at your hotel. We chose your hotel based on its advertised amenities and family-friendly environment, but unfortunately, our experience did not meet these expectations.

Firstly, there were no adequate activities for children. The pool was cold and basic, and there was no evening entertainment specifically for kids—just outdated bands that did not appeal to them. Throughout the day, there were no engaging activities or programs for children, which was very disappointing.

Additionally, I was taken aback by the numerous additional charges for basic amenities. The fact that drinks were charged at dinner and the staff’s attitude when we opted not to purchase any was particularly off-putting. This practice seems exploitative and not in line with providing a hospitable environment.

The gym facilities were inadequate, with an ultra-tiny space and a sauna that did not work once during our stay. When we inquired, we were informed about another sauna in the spa, but this came with an additional 20-euro charge. These issues significantly impacted our ability to enjoy our stay.

Overall, I feel that the hotel is more focused on extracting as much money as possible from guests rather than providing a family-friendly and enjoyable experience. This is particularly concerning as your hotel is marketed as a family destination.

  4. We booked an ” all inclusive ” package for mid June for about $350 a night for 3 nights.
Apparently, the restaurants and the room-service are only included for people that book 7 nights or more but it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Same for the gaming-room.
There is a spa which is severely over-priced that didn’t have anything going for the all inclusive package. I didn’t expect a free massage but if you’re charging so much per night and charging so much for a massage, at least give us a discount for booking an all inclusive package.
The “all inclusive” package only has about 8 drinks at the bar (the simplest ones) and anything else for example a mojito is extra charge (10 euros!)
Also, after 21:00 there’s nothing to eat at the hotel besides again, an over-priced room service that charges more than 10 euros for a toast with cheese and ham. In my opinion its pretty bad for young people who are looking to come back to the hotel after a night out and want something to munch on.
The room was okay, pretty standard.
Food in the main dining hall was alright as well, nothing special really.
Over all we feel a bit scammed due to the fact that we booked a package that was called all inclusive and yet barely included anything let alone everything.
It was an alright experience over all but I would definitely not visit again or recommend to my friends and family.

  5. **Holiday Disaster Due to Racial Discrimination**

I recently stayed at this hotel while 8 months pregnant, hoping for a relaxing week away with my family. Unfortunately, our experience was far from relaxing due to the pervasive racism we encountered from the moment we arrived.

We immediately noticed a difference in how we were treated compared to other guests. The staff constantly monitored us, making us feel like we were under 24-hour surveillance. This discrimination escalated as the week went on, making it increasingly difficult for us to enjoy our stay.

My partner decided to address the issue with the management, but our concerns were laughed off and not taken seriously at all. We also spoke with other families of colour at the hotel, and they reported similar experiences of racial discrimination.

In desperation, we contacted Love Holidays to find a replacement hotel, but unfortunately, this was not possible. The situation became so intolerable that we chose to spend as much time out of the hotel as possible just to avoid the hostile environment.

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The staff’s behaviour was ignorant and racist, making what should have been a peaceful holiday into a distressing experience.
