I can’t recommend Odyssey Rock enough! 10 stars. It completely made our stay in Milos. The sweeping views from the balcony are absolutely stunning it is hard to leave the room. It’s the best spot for sunset and they provide a wonderful breakfast to the room which you can take out there. Trip highlight was sitting out there for us.
The rooms are also lovely, comfortable, and spacious. It’s right in Plaka and about a 7 min walk to a free parking lot if you have a car with you. The one watch out is it is a very steep walk to the entrance, so if balance is tough, this could be a hard place to stay. Also getting from the hotel to the parking lot is a steep walk up and down. They make it easy for you when you check in and out with your bags, so no issues there.
Eleni is a gem and always accessible for anything you need while you are there. Also she figured out my birthday has just passed and brought me the best dessert I had on the whole trip. So sweet!
Stop looking… this is the place you want to stay. Perfectly decorated with an owners personal touch, it’s brand new, and has epic sunsets! Odyssey Rock had us wishing we could stay longer. The sunset view here is one of the best we’ve seen in Greece, enjoy it from your private balcony and/or terrace. The rooms are fully furnished and well appointed, the AC works great. The service during our stay was excellent. We chose the Athena suite, with two bedrooms it’s perfect for a couples trip or small family. We spent our morning and evening on the expansive outdoor terrace enjoying the beautiful views. The small town of Plaka is charming, walkable, and has several nice restaurants and bars. The only negative of this property is that you’re not allowed to park in Plaka, so you must use the public lot 6-7 minutes away. They had a driver check us in and assist with luggage so no issues there. But I could see that getting parking during high season may be more challenging, however, we had no issues in September. The walk is nice and enjoyable but is uphill.
Absolutely amazing hotel! My partner and I were blown away not only by the facilities but also the hospitality showed by Elena and the team at Odyssey Rock. From the moment our stay began the team made such an incredible effort to ensure that we had the best experience possible. They helped us with our bags from the parking lot in Plaka (there are no cars in the town), gave us beach/restaurant recommendations and even provided drinks to enjoy the sunset view. The rooms are modern and very clean. I could not recommend this hotel enough!!
5 stars all around for this place! My fiancé and i traveled to Milos in early September and stayed at Odyssey Rock in Plaka, Milos and I cannot say enough positive things. The views are breathtaking, sunset views are unforgettable, and rooms are impeccable! The attention to detail definitely does not go unnoticed, from the custom bedding and towels, to the fully stocked fridge with all kinds of complementary beverages, snacks, and fresh fruits. Elena, the concierge to the property is absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and professional, she happily provided great recommendations and accommodation for us all times of the day. The location is also unbeatable, you are within 5-10 minutes walking distance from many great local restaurants, coffee shops, and merchants in Plaka. By far one of our favorite hotels we’ve stayed in! Highly recommended!
This was our first time in Milos and I am SO happy we chose to stay in Plaka, the capital. Odyssey Rock is an absolute gem on the side of a mountain with a STUNNING view. The best on the island. The location is perfection as you are seconds away from the main town area with great restaurants, shops, bakeries and everything you could possibly need. As far as the rooms, they spared no expense. Everything is pristine and a lot of thought was put into every detail from the high-end furniture to the Molton Brown toiletries. We were so comfortable here. Your fridge is stocked with many beverages, wine, Aperol spritz, even homemade jams for morning toast. Elena serves as the concierge and provides amazing service. Her attentiveness and kindness made our stay even more special. Thank you so much for everything! We will be back!
