  1. It’s a nice restaurant located at the beach front. The service was good. Staff helpful and respectful.
Food was delicious. We tried the sea bream stuffed vegetables and spaghetti. Everything was tasty.
The lava cake was to die for. It was so scrumptious.

  2. We ate here last night, so the restaurant was very busy. This meant that we waited quite a while for our food, but we like to take our time, so it was ok.
We were seated quickly and offered drinks whilst we looked at the menu. The prices are higher than other places we’ve eaten at, and the menu has some more unusual dishes on it, as well as the standard moussaka, etc.

The atmosphere and look of the place are lovely and inviting.
There’s no decking on the beach side, so the chairs are difficult to move as they sink into the sand.

We had the smyrna beef cheeks and the stuffed calamari, and then yoghurt with walnuts and honey.

The beef was beautifully cooked and so soft, the aubergine puree was lovely, too, and the sauce was very rich, but together, it lacked a bit of texture, as it was all very soft.
I think something with a firmer bite would have gone well with it and added another dimension.

The calamari was divine. Cooked well and tasted great, and the stuffing was very nice.

The yoghurt was tasty, not at all sharp, and it went well with the walnuts and honey.

Normally, everywhere we’ve eaten, we have found the portion sizes to be massive, but here, the portion sizes were smaller, although still enough.

The waiters were nice enough, but busy. Our waiter apologised several times for the long wait, but they weren’t overly attentive in general due to being rushed off their feet.

We would return, and we’d recommend it to others, but personally, we wouldn’t have the beef again (as the dish stands atm).

    Edited to add:

We ate here again when it was slightly less busy. The food once again was lovely. We had the chicken kleftiko and the soulvaki feast . The chicken dish was very tasty and well cooked and presented with plenty of moist, soft chicken. The soulvaki feast was well cooked, and the pita bread was soft and fresh. Out of the 3 meats, my husband liked the chicken best. He found part of one of the others a little fatty, but the flavours were good, and that can happen with lamb.

The service was really good and attentive, and the wait staff had time to breathe, which was nice.
We ate here again for our last lunch and had a mezze. The waiter remembered us, and our drinks, which is always nice.
We had a mix of bread (divine), trio of dips (very tasty), aubergine ntomatini, and the feta in filo and honey, which was the best we’ve had on this island.
The way the present their food is also really good, and looks lovely, adding to the overall experience.
The toilets were also very clean and nice.

    We’d definitely recommend eating here.

  3. Cute little beach and spot. Loungers and umbrellas have a 30 Euro minimum charge. Good strong drinks though and the wait staff was super friendly. It did take time to get our orders but they were worth the wait. We got there about 11 AM and easily got spots right in front of the water. They have a separate area with tables and chairs that they serve full service food at. They only do small bites and cocktails at the beach loungers.

  4. We visited this restaurant twice because the first visit was so good. I had the stuffed squid the first visit which was beautiful and my partner had the bakaloe (codfish in light batter with chips). This was so unbelievable fresh, light, creamy and sumptuous that we both returned to have this dish another day. It came with this very tasty, garlic creamy sauce. And I love the oregano chips. Scenery, environment, service, the wine… all faultless. I loved the traditional music too. I’d highly recommend this restaurant!
