It’s a friendly town plenty of history good eating places, very nice indeed
Pretty area on the edge of Old town leading to the new port or the new fort. Plenty of interesting monuments to see including a poignant memorial to those from Corfu lost in war and the horrors of the Holocaust. Walking down to the port you can get a boat to Vidos (1.5 Euro) Island which is worth a look or you can go up the hill and enter the new fortress for free and get some great views from the top. A good few restaurants and shops in the are and as with most of old town its clean and tidy.
