The room was not clean. There were traces of dead insects on the wall which hadn’t been cleaned. I was grossed out to sleep in the room and very upset given the price we had paid.
The balcony was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The “jacuzzi” was horrible – there was a thick layer of dirt and plenty of insects on top.
We shortened our stay and left after one night because it was simply horrible.

The photos of the hotel on the website are not true, in fact the hotel is unkept, the restaurant is very expensive but the food is not good. cockroaches in the bathroom, noise and mess. we left this place after just one night. I do not recommend.
I’m not sure where to even begin…this hotel is amazing. From the day we got there (late Aug) we were welcomed with a drink, and given a detailed map with suggestions of where to go. Our room was perfect, always clean, lots of space. The rain shower was a great touch. The beach itself is great, not rocky and no seaweed. The loungers were very comfortable and if youre staying at the hotel you are guaranteed the first row of loungers during your entire stay. Honestly I’m surprised this hotel is ranked as a 3 star resort, I’d push it for a 4.5 star based on rooms, service, cleanliness, grounds of the property, beach etc. Oh and the best part is they have cats on site!! Definitely a good resort for couples as at night it’s nice and quiet. There’s also a good grocery and Gelato shop right next door. Can’t wait to come back in the future!
I don’t understand how they can charge these prices for this hotel. It is a scam – please trust the negative comments you read about this hotel as they are true. It is more an old, badly maintained 2-star hotel. Save your time and money and stay elsewhere.

We had a great time at Naxian on the Beach – we arranged pickup through the hotel and they made it a breeze as we were welcomed right off a busy ferry. We were greeted by staff immediately upon arrival and offered a welcome drink during the check in process. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean. Having the sunbeds available to guests really sets this hotel apart from others as it makes it so easy to spend the day at the beach. If you ever are tired of the beach, they are more than willing to help arrange a tour of the island or a trip into the town to explore. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and it was always a great way to start off our day. The staff were always going above and beyond, we greatly enjoyed our staff.
