The family at the property were so special. Every minute we spent there was filled with amazing food, conversation, views, learning and an overall feeling of ease and happiness. Very lucky we chose to spend our time here. Our best stop in Greece!
Such an ideal Naxos Greek cooking class! Constantinos picked us up, fed us delicious wine and translated everything for us while answering all our Greek questions and providing us with fantastic company. The kitchen and gardens are breathtaking – I felt like I was in a movie cooking with my long lost Greek mother who was so sweet and talented taking us through her family recipes. We cooked stuffed vegetables, lamb with potatoes, feta pies, Greek salad and zucchini fritters.. all delicious. There was so much food that it was boxed up and we ate it for the next day and a half. All bookings are private so you won’t have other people cooking with you which was so nice. And after a tour of the garden and some dessert Constantinos drove us home back through the mountains.
Couldn’t have had a better experience. From pick up to drop off and everything in between. We took a cooking class with Miss Julianna but this is so much more than a cooking class. You’re transported to one of the most picturesque ‘kitchens’ imaginable. All outdoor, overlooking a farm of olive trees that are hundreds of years old.
All I can say is that this is a must do when you come to visit Naxos. You will not be disappointed.
My husband and I had the loveliest time visiting Ms Juliana and learning recipes with her, taking a tour of the family farm, and of course, eating the delicious food (with most of the ingredients coming direct from their farm). Kind, thoughtful and utterly professional and thought through. We highly recommend this experience for anyone interested in a wondrous, authentic and unique experience on the island of Naxos.
