The view and atmosphere was amazing, however, the food was disappointing consider its price point.
The menu has limited choice and some of the items were not available. The home made bread was ok but was overpriced, the waiter didn’t inform us we have to pay extra when we asked for more. Also the first time they served pita bread and they brought us home made bread later.
The lobster spaghetti was a bit disappointing as the lobster was not fresh and the lobster meat was off. You can taste the white wine they used to cover up the bad quality lobster. At a price point of 58 Euros, we were expecting high quality lobster. When we told the waiter about the lobster, he insisted it was fresh and refused to gave us any compensation.
In short, save the money on food and spend it on drinks instead.
Dinner destination today was the fancy Narcissus Restaurant located in Kouros Hotel and Suites. The venue is beautiful and the view is utterly stunning. Open every evening for dinner Narcissus offers Mediterranean fusion cuisine. The sad part is they offer only 2 vegetarian options, we loved the appetizer Garden Tribute but the main course salt baked celeriac lacked in flavor and taste. Both the desserts were excellent. Pricing is on higher side, wine list is decent and service is good.
The restaurant and the staff are of the best I’ve ever experienced. The food is simply incredible, as an example we ordered scallops for starters and you can literally taste the flavours of each ingredient. Then we ordered Grouper and lamb chops which were cooked to perfection, finished off with a Banana dessert. Now that’s food is out of the way, w.r.t experience and ambience, if you are in Mykonos in July I’d recommend to go the restaurant around 8pm. You get to watch the beautiful sunset right from your dinner table over looking the Aegean Sea in front you. It’s a special place and the staff are just incredibly kind. 100% will return and visit always when I’m in Mykonos. Thank you to the entire staff and keep up the excellent work.
Amazing food, worth every penny. Service was excellent and the sunset view was spectacular. We both ordered the tenderloin and was excellent, could have had another!
