  1. For starters, this is a magical place. After just being here for one day I felt for the first time in my life I need to come back to this (a specific )hotel. All the staff are amazing and so caring, you felt relaxed and taken care of all your stay. I will sure come back next year. Fresh rooms, good breakfast, close walk to the village.

And last, but not least! The bartender Aggelos is a reason to just visit this place, friendliest guy and amazing at making cocktails. Really loved my days staying there, more should experience this magical place! (And the drinks)

  2. A truly outstanding place to holiday. Where do we begin?

Well, I guess with the people. Evgenios & Jenny and truly first class hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and you are greeted like old friends from the first moment.

The rooms and amenity areas are spotlessly clean. The pool is lovely. The bar serves good quality drinks and cocktails.

Breakfast is a mixture of international and traditional fayre. Jenny cooks and prepared dishes fresh daily including delicious cakes and salads.

Pastida town is a five minute walk away and has a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Keen Asti and bigger towns are a short bud or taxi ride away.

Just go. You will not regret it!

  3. We are writing this from a very grey and rainy England after a wonderful week at the Nama Retreat in the resort of Pastida on the Greek island of Rhodes.
Well… what can we say that hasn’t already been said? The hotel is an absolute gem of a find and far better than anything we’ve ever stayed in, either in Greece or anywhere else. The rooms have a modern decor, super comfy beds, wet rooms (with great shower pressure!), a sofa area and smart tv (you can log into Netflix). Every day breakfast is a treat – a basket full of goodies (coffee and tea, juice, milk, bread, a fruit and salad portion, ham and cheese for later and something warm and freshly baked). What was on offer was slightly different each morning, which made it interesting! Jenny will also offer to make you eggs and bacon. She gave us a portion of her famous lasagne on the first day for us to take back to our room for lunch and, of course, it was delicious!
The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily with fresh towels provided, including pool towels.
Pastida is a small resort with a few restaurants within stomping distance of the hotel – we especially enjoyed Epavlis for drinks and food and Skalakia and Gefira tavernas for traditional Greek cuisine. For lunch, a tasty gyros wrap can be had for only €3 at Gourounakia in the village.
You can hire a car to get around the island but we used Jenny’s son’s taxi firm, Executive Travel, which was perfect for us.
We also organised a boat trip with Jenny that left from Rhodes Town. We were aboard the Romantika Dreams and a fantastic time was had by us both. It was certainly was one of the highlights of our stay.
Towards the end of our stay, we got engaged in nearby Ialysos (a very lovely resort close to Pastida with a beautiful beach), which made the trip even more special.
Jenny and Eugene, along with their son, daughter, Dino and Alex on bar and Maria were all just wonderful – thank you all for making our stay the very best we’ve ever had. We will definitely be returning in the future as Mr and Mrs.

  4. Hidden gem! Amazing hotel and even more amazing staff! We stayed at this beautiful hotel a while back and this review was on my list to do for a long time now. We will never forget Jenny and Eugene’s hospitality. We had issues withdrawing cash or paying with card (light was down on whole Rhodes) and we couldnt buy dinner, neither water. They kindly took care of us and prepared us a quick greek salad, provide us with refreshments and we ate at candle light 😊. Always going the extra mile to accommodate our requests or help us in any kind. One of the best experiences ever. We were also welcomed with beer and a sandwhich 😅!

  5. Everything about the Nama Retreat is straight out of the top drawer. Jenny, Evgenios all their family and staff are great and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spotless, and the facilities are great. The village is within easy walking distance. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.
