  1. It was a great thrill to see the desk where the poet wrote the Free Besiegers and especially a handwritten excerpt from draft C of the work (mother, magnanimous…).

  2. Very neat, well-kept and well-preserved building, with enough information about the life of Dionysos Solomos. The view is impressive, the desk where “Free Besieged” was written and the table with the family tree. I definitely recommend a visit here when you are in Corfu. It won’t take you much time and costs only 2 euros.
