Lovely traditional taverna. The food was such a good price! 9€ for a huge portion of prawns. The baked feta was the best we’ve had on Rhodes. My partner had lamb chops with rice and said it was fantastic. You must try the house red wine it’s very very good. The cats are funny too.
I went here with a friend. When we ordered they told us they didn’t have any gyros and fish, which was why we were there. So we ordered something else. We ordered a starter together and we both got main dishes. After we ordered and we were already waiting they told me they didn’t have the type of chicken that I ordered so they changed it. After waiting my friend got her dinner and the starter. They told me mine would take 5 more minutes. After 20 minutes mine finally came. It took so long my friend was already done eating. My fries were soggy and my chicken was bland. The only good thing was the tzatziki.
Came here to try some gyros. When i wanted to order the boy told us they didn’t have it and also no sea food. So i had to order something else. My friend ordered chickenribs. We had to wait pretty long (there were just a few people so not very busy). The boy said they didn’t have chickenribs and that it woud be just chicken (told us long after we ordered). My food came and he told my friend that the chicken would take just 5 more minutes. My friend had to wait 20 minutes! So when here’s came i almost finished mine. The taste was mid, my friends fries tasted weird (soft and oily) and here chicken had no flavour, the pita and tzasiki were good.
The cats were very cute, the place looked nice and the price was very good. I would not reccomend this if you want quality food and eat at the same time.
Huge portions of good food. Meze for 1 was sufficient for both of us with a glass of wine each for 20 euro.
They were accommodating for gluten intolerances though the menu was somewhat restrictive for a coeliac.
Nice restaurant where the locals advice you what to eat from the menu. They also have specials of the day which includes a meal and beverages. We had a nice lunch here, fresh made and the service was very nice. The town is very smal but you can take a walk and visit the small markets whre you get all you groceries if needed. Funny to see that the locals just park their cars on the street to do some quick shopping. You have to drive around them but nobody complains. Not even the firemen !!!
