  1. Definitely a gem worth seeing. The hike uphill is not too difficult, with a few beautiful vistas along the way, so I’d recommend taking the hike. The monastery itself is gorgeous, and there is no entry fee. Try to avoid peak hours, as there are many bus tours. I was there at 12:30 p.m., and it was crowded.

  2. Nice place to see. No entry tickets. Lovely view from Monastery. You have access via car almost next to the Monastery, there is a big car park at the top of the hill but if you prefer you can also have a nice hike.

  3. Don’t skip this site if you are researching a possible visit. We visited this beautiful monastery and were blown away by the beauty here. The location is simply breathtaking and so tranquil, it’s the reason why we all flock to Greece. Corfu has a beauty that is not widely known, and I am so blessed for being able to explore off the beaten path while there.

  4. Not as old as expected, beautiful interior, lovely garden in the exterior. Well kept, and the guy at the bottom with scarves for the women to borrow (to cover their shoulders and thighs) was friendly. You can drive right to the top but there are only about 5 parking spots, so better to walk.

  5. We loved this peaceful place with a breathtaking view. We met the monks and bought some products made by them. Admission is free, you can visit the church, the museum, the gardens with an incredible variety of basil. A must-do!
