Very nice village. Despite the many tourist taverns, shops and hotels/pensions, it is nice to take a little walk here. We liked it. In the taverns you can donate for the sterilization of the cats, which is what we did.
Nice place to stay. Nice people in the taverns who are still open to visitors. A quiet place with two small beaches (stone). We felt comfortable for a few hours.
Pretty little village where we rented an apartment with a view overlooking the sea next to a small church. Several small coves to get into the water and plenty of restaurants. 30 minutes by car from Ierapetra, south of the island, very nice town with lots of restaurants and shops! Nice corner of eastern Crete!
