A Picture-Perfect Escape

Nestled away from the bustling crowds, Milos Hidden Beach offers tourists an idyllic location to unwind and relish the beauty of Greece’s coastline. This serene destination is characterized by its crystal-clear waters and stunning scenery, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts alike.

Accessible Yet Adventurous

To reach this paradisiacal beach, visitors embark on a brief yet exhilarating 10-15 minute hike. While it may require a bit of effort, the journey is well worth it for those who appreciate scenic hikes coupled with rewarding views.

Gear Up for the Hike

Prepare for your adventure by ensuring you have the right gear. Sensible hiking shoes are essential—flip flops and sandals are a recipe for disaster on such terrain. Moreover, don’t forget to pack plenty of water, as there are no shops en route!

The Importance of Timing

Timing your hike is key! Avoid the ascent between 12 PM and 2 PM when the sun is at its peak. Schedule your trek for the morning or late afternoon to make the most of your hiking experience while keeping cool.

A Beach Without the Frills

Once you arrive, Milos Hidden Beach greets you with its natural beauty—but it comes with one caveat: there are no umbrellas or loungers available. This means that sun seekers should bring their own sun protection or risk a sunburn on the immaculate sands.

Mixed Reviews: The Beauty Encountered

Visitors have shared diverse experiences at Milos Hidden Beach. For many, its unspoiled environment and enchanting waters evoke a sense of tranquility and awe. Dominika Śliżewska praises the beach as a "fantastic" location, highlighting the beauty of the surroundings once properly prepared.

The Hiker’s Conundrum

On the other hand, not every visitor shares the same enthusiasm. Jelena Nevrkla points out the strenuous hike back, which can be disheartening, especially when tired. She notes that though the beach is visually appealing, her experience was dampened by the conditions of the water.

Crystal-Clear Waters Await

For those willing to make the hike, the reward is unparalleled: breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters. Alexandru Cirlan emphasizes the beauty of the setting but highlights certain drawbacks like overpriced facilities which could deter budget travelers.

Bring Your Own Comforts

Budget-conscious tourists will appreciate the tips shared by visitors like Alexandru. Bringing your own food, drinks, and even portable sun protection can enhance your beach day without breaking the bank.

A Unique Experience Awaits

With no sunbeds available for rent, visitors can enjoy the freedom of laying on the warm sands without the usual commercial distractions of busier beaches. This creates an intimate atmosphere where you can connect with nature.

Adventure Awaits Beyond the Hike

For a truly unforgettable experience, explore the possibility of swimming or canoeing to the beach. Svea Schüler shares her perspective, noting that even on a busy Saturday, the beach remained a tranquil retreat with ample shade.

Those who venture to Milos Hidden Beach are rewarded not just with sun and sand, but with the opportunity to create beautiful memories in an untouched locale. It’s a place where you can relax, unwind, and take in the beauty of the Mediterranean.

  1. Fantastic beach, well worth the 10-15 minute hike but make sure to have: sensible shoes (as hiking in flip flops and sandals is a recipe for disaster), enough water (there’s no shops as it is secluded), umbrella (as there’s no umbrellas or loungers at the beach) and try to avoid the hike between 12-2PM.
Overall a beautiful experience once you’re well prepared!

  2. Not worth the hiking to the beach. The road is terrible especially when you are getting back from the beach tired and you have to go upwards. That is my personal opinion. The beach looks nice but we had small waves which brought some dirtiness to the shore so water wasn’t clean to look through. Not amazed, saw more beautiful beaches in Greece.

  3. 4€/person to get to one of the most amazing beaches in Lefkada! The crystal-clear water and breathtaking scenery at Milos Beach make it an absolute must-visit. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of the overpriced facilities. Sunbeds cost a steep 40 euros, and they’re in poor condition with tiny umbrellas—no water provided either, which is something you usually get at other beaches. A simple cola is 4.5 euros, Santal juice is 6 euros, and a small margherita pizza will set you back 18 euros. While I get that prices might be higher than at Katsima, 40 euros for subpar sunbeds and unfriendly staff is too much. If you plan to visit, bring your own supplies (we brought a thermo bag with water and juices) and consider bringing your own umbrella (which we didn’t have).

  4. Great little beach, it’s very busy and has no sun beds for beach goers. From street level, it’s down a 7-10 minute pathway full of souvenir shops and restaurants.

  5. I’ve seen a fair share of Greek beaches and this one is now under the Top 10 🤩 I used the rope to go down (to the left) but you can also swim or use a kayak/SUP to go there. Even on a Saturday there were like 3 people at the beach and you had some nice shade as well.
