I had a splendid holiday in beautifully renovated and perfectly equipped rooms with a breathtaking sea view! The location is ideal as the beach, coffee shops and restaurants are all within walking distance providing numerous options. Warm thanks to Mr Dimitris for being an excellent host! Fantastic place, location a d people. Best in Kapsali for my liking, quiet, cool, view, away from bars, close to sea and everything, kitchen, balcony view tremendous. Will come next year for sure
This might be one of the best hotel stays I have ever had … initially booked for 2 nights but stayed for 7
Very nice room with a partial view to the sea and Chora. Very comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and spacious, with stone floor and nice colours. The bathroom had been recently renovated and it was very practical. There was a nice balcony we used for breakfast in the morning and relaxation at night. The surroundings were very nice, with plants and flowers. Really nice to stay there. The staff was very polite, pleasant and helpfull. The location is ideal too: close to the beach and the restaurants and yet above the road so as to avoid noise. Super value for money.
Things we didn’t like: a) the incline to reach the rooms (not a big deal though -just 15 meters), b) the lack of some kind of tent in the balcony in order to prevent sunlight from heating the room (at noon and in the afternoon), c) although high-quality, the furniture needed some sort of care, d) the refrigerator needed defrosting, e) the wooden window covers had no wholes and when we closed them, not sufficient amount of air could enter the room (I don’t know of there is any sort of local restrictions regarding the traditional architecture that might dictate this).
Overall, we are very happy to have chosen Mely for our stay!
