I recently found myself unexpectedly staying at Hotel Meltemi due to a weather advisory that prevented my water taxi from traveling to Skopelos. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a surprisingly pleasant experience thanks to this gem of a hotel.
From the moment I arrived, the Maria at the front desk made me feel welcome and taken care of. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The room was quaint and all I needed. The level of service was outstanding, efficient and genuinely friendly. The pricing felt reasonable and fair, which is rare when you’re in a bind like this.
Maria at the front desk deserves special mention for her incredible hospitality and helpfulness. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was smooth, offering recommendations and assistance with a cheerful and professional attitude.
The location is perfect for anyone needing proximity to both the port and the airport. Should I ever need to stay in Skiathos again, Hotel Meltemi would be my first choice without hesitation. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area, whether for convenience or by chance like I was!
I needed a room overnight between plane and ferry, it was close to both. I just slept and had breakfast, my room was small and clean, a bit tight for two for more than a day or so.

Very disappointed by the à la carte breakfast, which was not made clear when booking. The portions are very small and the staff is not willing to accommodate accordingly for extras. Otherwise, the rooms are tiny, but clean, with balconies overlooking the harbour and the location is great.
Nice, clean, soundproof rooms with view of the harbor. Breakfast a la carte, tasty with local flavor. However, the greatest asset of the hotel, is the really helpful, polite and professional employees!
