I recently stayed at what is advertised as a 5-star hotel and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. We booked a sea view suite, expecting a luxurious and restful stay, but we didn’t sleep a wink due to the extremely poor soundproofing. The noise from outside and neighboring rooms was constant and intrusive, making it impossible to relax.
Additionally, the service fell far short of the standard one would expect from a 5-star establishment. The staff seemed indifferent to our concerns and lacked the attentiveness and professionalism that should come with such a high rating.
For the premium price we paid, we expected top-notch comfort and service, but unfortunately, this hotel did not deliver on either front. I cannot recommend staying here if you’re looking for a true 5-star experience.
Centered in old town Athens, this is a stunning hotel. The rooms were beautiful, the view from the rooftop bar were fabulous. The outdoor coffee shop and bar are a great place to sit and have a coffee, drink and people watch. Just minutes away from walking to the Plaka for shopping and from the changing of the guard in front of the parliament. The staff was most helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is an old classic style hotel with spacious rooms with awesome views of the port and the sea. The breakfast buffet was elaborate and delicious. This hotel has a fantastic location with the centre of the old town, and its cobbled streets, local restaurants and souvenir shops, all within a short walking distance. A great hotel to stay in!
The reviews are correct. This hotel is the best hotel in Crete. Hands down, the hotel is the most stunning hotel with beautiful interior and gorgeous rooms. The breakfast is amazingly delicious as well. Most of all, the service is top notch. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would come back.
