We went here for dinner, the road there is a long decline towards the shore.
We went there at 18:00 and had no trouble finding seats.
Prepare for a bit of wind as this is right at the shore. Long sleeves and tied up hair is recommended.
We were served promptly and they brought us water, some slices of bread and a bit of olive oil.
This is immediately were I am deducting points from service.
How they brought these things out and provided them they seemed complimentary but no, they’re 100% charging you for this and are not telling you.
The food was really good, the portions rather small which prompts you ordering more dishes to finish up.
All in all we ended up at over 70$ Canadian for 2 people and we were not full after this.
It was delicious but this behaviour is unacceptable.
And we weren’t the only ones unhappy with this.
I will not be coming back here.
This is a great taverna style restaurant that is very very popular. Some tables have excellent views, expect to put your name down and come back. During peak times waits often exceed one hour. The food is very good, I enjoyed the best smoked mackerel I’ve ever had and the octopus in vinegar was very good – we tried both and preferred this one. Don’t miss this place, it’s a very busy fun filled atmosphere and you can explore the small fishing village while you wait.
Highly recommend this place! We enjoyed our final dinner on the island here, and the sunset view was absolutely stunning. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the octopus dish was offered in a half portion, allowing us to try other dishes as well. We’ll definitely return if we visit the island again!
The views are incredible and so is the food. We stopped in for lunch and had the pork chops, fried calamari with tzatziki sauce and a Greek salad. All of the food was delicious and even though the wind was crazy, you quickly forget about it when the view is so beautiful.
Nice size restaurant that over looks the beach, was walk in only so get there early as it fills up. Views were beautiful and food was great. Reasonable priced to. Had lots of cats which was a win for me. Pretty basic menu with alot of seafood and local style. Get the Octopus in vinegar and you won’t be disappointed.
