  1. Driving to Piso Livadi for dinner was such a good decision. Best time to come is around 830 before sunset to eat at Markakis. Fresh fish was a showstopper and an amazing decision. I highly recommend this place. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly and the service was fast.

I had the fresh grouper and it was fileted right at our table. Came with some roasted vegetables (zucchini, peppers, onion, eggplant) and some lemon and thyme sauce to pour over the fish. It was delicious.

  2. I have eaten at many places in Paros, but this one definitely caught our attention. We returned almost every day and dined multiple times during our stay on the island of Paros. We tried both lunch and dinner, and every time we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in Parikia and Naoussa and drove here each time to eat (approximately 15-20 minutes by car, depending on traffic).

We highly recommend the Greek salad, any type of fresh fish, fried calamari, fried cheese, lamb, grilled sardines, pistachio shrimp, and shrimp risotto (a kind of Greek pilaf). Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, and the lady at the entrance was always very kind to us, always giving us the best table. It’s a family business, and it’s evident that they put a lot of heart into their work and do it with love. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

  3. Michelin star fish soup! Very good food with sea side tables. The service was decent, our waiter was distracted, but others were doing a good service.
L.E. second time having fish soup here…amazing!

  4. Markakis was excellent. We had calamari for the appetizer and freshly caught grouper with grilled vegetables for dinner and it was outstanding. The vibe was great and the best time to go is right before sunset.
