  1. Came to eat here as a stop on our way around the island by scooter. The location is awesome as it is right on the ocean, but this was the most terrible service we got anywhere on the island. We sat down and ordered a beer, Greek salad, meatballs, and tzatziki. After one hour, we didn’t have anything besides water. My husband got up to ask about how much longer the order would take and he immediately got berated by the waiter who said that all the orders were being made in the order that people sat down. After about 10 minutes the waiter brought our food and wasn’t very nice. The Greek salad was almost in whole pieces (we couldn’t eat the onion because they were in such big chunks). Everything else was ok. Not the place to come if you want a quick bite to eat and friendly service.

  2. Very picturesque place. Tables virtually on the seaside. Go in the morning for café, ouzo or tsipouro with meze. Prefer dinner than lunch, specialy during hot summer days. Prices are low compared to other restaurants in Serifos. Ask for ‘abelofasoula’ (long green beans). Fresh fish as of typical island fish tavern. If you find big fish, go for it. It usually worths the price.

  3. Very nice place, next to the sea, with nice food. Try the coq au vin! You can also visit the old iron mines 100 meters from there and see the old installations. Try also to swim until the old bridge and explore the sea bottom.

  4. Don’t go for the fish – it takes too much time to get it and it ‘s completely tasteless 😔. But the side dish you get up front, so that it gets cold by the time fish arrives. They are under staffed.
