We had the most beautiful dinner here, the restaurant is so lovely and the atmosphere is great! The waiters were amazing, they gave us great recommendations and even though they were slightly understaffed still provided us with a wonderful experience – all whilst dealing with a rude American couple near us so we really appreciated their effort!
If I ever come back to Rhodes I’m making a booking straight away – PS if they have lavender cream brûlée or the deconstructed baklava on the menu definitely order it!

When you think about a cosy place with inspirational spirit and warm welcoming people then you surely have MPM in mind. This hotel and restaurant is a fabulous place, decorated with style. It’s location is top rated too. If I were to visit Rhodes again, I’m pretty sure this is where I would be staying at again!
Don’t miss the entrance, we passed without seeing it (despite having GPS on!). It’s a blue door with a hand-shaped knocker.
The most gorgeous tucked away dining experience! We were greeted by the friendliest and most accommodating staff, especially Savvas who I had initially contacted via email to request vegan options when making the reservation. The chef, Lefteris pre prepared a vegan starter, main and dessert, as pictured and even came out to say hello and wanted to make sure the food was ok. Safe to say this was the most delicate and tasty plant based food I’ve ever had. So thoughtful and kind to put all the effort in just for my request and making dishes that weren’t on the menu. My partner who isn’t plant based said his food was also amazing. I couldn’t recommend this beautiful restaurant enough, from start to finish it was a lovely experience with the nicest staff. We spent 10 days exploring, eating and drinking our way around Rhodes – and Marco Polo was my absolute favourite restaurant.
We booked in advance, which I would recommend.
When we arrived it was a little tricky to find, tucked down a quiet side street away from the tourist traps of Rhodes Old Town, a doorway leads up some steps to the most beautiful courtyard garden I’ve ever seen. It’s simply stunning. Tables are nestled throughout the garden and we were given the option to choose ‘social’ or ‘romantic’ seating.
Our server was so friendly, knowledgable about the food and wine list, and funny too.
We were made to feel so welcome!
They say the people make the place, and that couldn’t be more true.
The food was lovely and presented beautifully. I ate a smoked white fish starter, and a special of charred pork belly main with fruit compote.
We stayed for desert even though we were full because we wanted to stay and enjoy the atmosphere.
The prices are all very reasonable considering the quality of the food and how beautiful the setting is.
Marco Polo is a real Gem, and I’d recommend it unreservedly!
