very nice experience. close to the beach, clean rooms, very friendly staff, family owned hotel so i will give them 5 stars
We stayed for a week at Manos Palace Hotel in June 2023.
The room was ready earlier than normal – we arrived from the airport at 8.30 AM and we had our room ready at 9.30.
The room was very clean and each day somebody came and took care of cleaning.
The room and bathroom were washed each day and linen and towels were changed 3 times in one week.
Breakfast was good and a lot better than in other hotels in which we stayed in Greece.
We had a studio equipped with all necessary stuff for cooking simple meals. All the appliances are new and in good condition.
Staff is really helpful and nice. We appreciated this especially because they tried their best to make us comfortable.
We would stay again in this hotel for a vacation!
Manos Palace is a family owned hotel. Therefore, all the family members are working. They care for each guest. I liked owner’s Lady a lot. Such a sweetheart. Always smiling and always helpful. We took morning breakfast which was delicious and well prepared. Breakfast view to the mountain and beach was stunning! A great way to start the morning.
In regards the room – we got a room in the first floor which a beach view. The room had a balcony with a place to dry wet clothes, two chairs and table. The balcony was great for chilling, drinking wine after a long day. In the balcony ashtray was placed for a smokers which nowadays is very rare. But as a smoking guest- I was happy about it a lot. In the room we had a small kitchen with necessary appliances. The room had hairdryer and a safe. I like the cleanliness of the hotel. Very clean everywhere.
Furthermore, Manos Palace is in a good location as we had a rented car and travelled through Crete. So, it was very convenient to return back. Of course, if you are looking for a place just to chill next to the sea- it is also a good choice, as the hotel is next to the sea. Or if you not a beach person, you can take sunbath next to the hotel pool or upstairs in the terrace. Overall, this hotel is couple friendly, family friendly, traveler’s friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.
Very friendly service. Daily cleaning in the room.
Everything is clean, everything works, nothing is broken.
Wonderful sea views from both the room and the top floor, where the breakfast cafe is located.
There are many parking spaces near the hotel.
Walk to the beach for 1-2 minutes.
The location is good and the rooms are nice. In the morning there is no hot water (neither on rainy/cloudy days). The breakfast is ok, but they don’t have any kind of lactose or gluten free options and the coffee doesn’t really have any taste. After you check out you can leave the bags in the main hall but there is no separate room for them so it is not the safest option. In one morning there was no electricity in the village, therefore there was no breakfast but this was not even announced. After going to the reception and making it clear that this is not okay after we have paid already for the breakfast, they have brought some food to our room but it was basically 2 mini pieces of bread with butter, cheese and ham, some veggies and a few biscuits which doesn’t compare to the breakfast we have paid for (especially if you cannot eat gluten). The hosts were nice in general but their english knowledge is limited.
