Delicious meatball and cheesecake. The food are pre-cooked in buffet display, then microwaved. Pricy yes with beautiful sea view. Friendly owner but i also met the arrogant younger man once. The buffet food has no price. I asked, it was 13eu , then i saw 15 eu on bill. Also strange 1 eu charged on my bill i saw later. If this is bread, i didn’t reveive any.
This tavern offers beautiful atmosphere on the lovely Plaka Beach. You can choose from a variety of sea food options (since they dry their octopus outside & keep seafood inside the restaurant in fridges) as well as traditional greek food. For the picky eaters, pizza and pasta are available. The feta cheese is excellent & fried calamari is something they always recommend (good choice). Octopus in vinegar was a bit chewy but tasty when seasoned properly. Cheese and tomato pizza was a classic greek pizza, two can share the portion. Kataifi roll was also bigger than expected & still good.
The food was good, the setting great but the service can definitely be improved. We felt like an inconvenience really so even if we liked the food, we decided not to return. I know people can have bad days and whilst we’re on holiday, the team was working but still…it was not just one but rather all (besides the cashier really).
Delicious food and fantastic view! Service is very friendly and fast. See you soon!
We had “small white fish”. Something smaller than sardines but bigger than anchovies. Very interesting.
They’re greek salad with naxian soft cheese (like ricotta) was delicious!
They have a great tasting house wine Rosé
