Our stay at Maistrali was wonderful, and we were very impressed by the care shown by Babis, his family, and staff. Everything was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect every morning with lots of choices, and changed up the pastries too so that it wasn’t the same every day. The hotel is perfectly situated on the main road running from the port, so you have many options for restaurants, a 4 minute walk to a mini market, and plenty of beachfront.
Babis is more than happy to share information about Sifnos with you, so make sure to take notes. Definitely will stay here again the next time we visit Serifos. Just really great people at Maistrali, and Sifnos in general.
Hotel Maistrali is greatly located very close to the Livadi port with many restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms were spacious, with stunning view and equipped with all the amenities. The owner is extremely friendly and always keen to help and give advice for the best experience while at Serifos! Thank you!
The first thing you need to know is we never actually got to stay here. When trying to books hotel on Kythnos somehow we managed to book The Maistrsli Hotel on Livadi. By the time I realized my error it was less than 48 hours before we were due to arrive and the hotel’s policy is for no refunds.
I tried my luck explaining that I made a mistake and requested they waive their policy and give me a refund. Needless to say I wasn’t hopeful. To my surprise and delight I got an email from the hotel manager Mr Bobalos saying he understood and would be happy to waive their policy and provide a full refund.
I’m todays world where the dollar is more important than people this is refreshing and encouraging to find someone who is understanding and compassionate. My only regret is that we didn’t get to stay here and meet this lovely man. When we travel again to the Greek Islands we will definitely include Livadi and The Maistrali Hotel!
My first time in Serifos, a wild and beautiful island, authentic and to fall in love with. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Maistrali. There is a very family atmosphere and I felt very welcome and comfortable as a guest. The hotel owner Babis? ( I could not remember his name well) is very friendly and a great host. Also his daughter helped me with many tips. The cleaning was top notch, the cleaning lady is also very friendly. There is perfect value for money here and I can highly recommend Hotel Maistrali. It is located near the most beautiful beaches, the Chora and the port. I am sure I will come back 🥰
This hotel exceeded my expectations. Owned by sincerely lovely and incredibly helpful Babis & his wife. Literally right in front of the beach, very decently clean and super quite. If i ever come back to Serifos, i will be staying here again ♥️
