Unfortunately, the food wasn’t tasty. The overall value for the dinner was so disappointing. We opted for the tasting menu and wine pairing, but I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was lacking and some dishes were just terrible. They served a bigger portion of steak for the last course topped with caviar (it was not a great combination). However, I could barely eat the steak, so I asked for a take-away box and they denied it to me and said they do not offer take home boxes—very wasteful.
The views are nice and the heat lamps were nice to have. The dessert course was actually tasty, it was an ice cream cake that looked like a block of charcoal and they added a flake of gold and a tiny drop of raspberry on top for fun.
We were hotel guests at Mystique, which is a 5-star resort. If I were Mystique, I would not want to be associated with Lure based on the poor execution of the food and lackluster service.
We did the food and wine tasting at Lure and everything was delicious. Really pleasantly surprised that there were three tastings available regular, pescatarian and vegetarian! The dishes were delicious and the service was great. Definitely on the pricier side, but the food, service and view won’t disappoint.
PS the view is great, but does not face the sunset
After a long day of hiking, we took dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Lure. Usually hotel restaurants are nice enough, but nothing special. I loved this restaurant because it was just scattered along the cliff. Each table had a view, and the food was top notch. I loved the meat and drinks, but the dish that took my heart away – the bread and butter 🙈 I’m not sure what they put in that, but I couldn’t stop eating it.
Would NOT recommend.
The food was below mediocre and extremely expensive for what it was. The salad was a joke; it was so small that we could not even find it in the plate. Not really that tasty either. Only 1 vegetarian option for a main course and unfortunately it was a very basic and disappointing risotto. The cocktails seriously overpriced and took ages to make. On top of everything, everything was extremely slow. The waiters were really nice but you ask for a spoon and you need to wait for 15 mins.
We have never had such a disappointing experience in a good restaurant.
In the end they could not even bring us a proper receipt. They were super confused when we asked for it.
Overall, the tavernas in the island did a much better job, and the view is amazing everywhere on the island, so I would not waste money on this one.
We had the most incredible meal tonight at Lure! The food is outstanding and service is impeccable. Get the artichoke starter. We also got the lamb and ravioli for dinner and both were phenomenal. Definitely one of our best and most memorable meals ever, and the view is stunning!
