A Scenic Vantage Point

Whether you’re watching the sunset paint the sky with brilliant colors or enjoying the gentle sound of waves below, the scenery is truly unparalleled. Prepare to be mesmerized!

Wine Selection Galore

The wine menu at Loggia is another highlight. Featuring a diverse selection of local and imported wines, there’s something for every palate. From crisp whites to bold reds, you can indulge in the flavors of Greece and beyond while reveling in the ambiance of the bar. This is the perfect opportunity to expand your wine knowledge or simply find a new favorite.

Create Lasting Memories

Many visitors have shared their unforgettable experiences at Loggia. As Lauren Donnelly aptly puts it, this wine bar is “quite possibly the nicest and most unique” she has ever visited. The beautiful views and intoxicating atmosphere make for a perfect spot to unwind with friends or celebrate a special occasion.

Popularity and Wait Times

While Loggia is a must-visit destination, it’s important to plan ahead. Due to its immense popularity, especially during the summer months, it is highly recommended to make a reservation. Many guests rush to secure seats as the doors open at 7 PM, and the demand for tables tends to be high.

Not Without Its Drawbacks

As with any popular establishment, Loggia has received mixed reviews. Some visitors have highlighted potential downsides. For example, Stelios Avramidis described his experience as “a tourist trap,” citing long wait times and overcrowding. This serves as a reminder that every gem may have its flaws, and it’s essential to manage expectations.

Service Matters

Customer service can make or break your experience. While several guests praised the hospitable staff, others pointed out instances of rudeness. Emma Guarnieri expressed her disappointment, stating that the behavior of the receptionist marred the overall enjoyment of the stay. It’s essential for management to ensure that all staff reflect the warm charm of the venue.

Tips for a Smoother Visit

To ensure a delightful experience, consider going on off-peak days or arriving as soon as the bar opens. Additionally, exploring nearby attractions while waiting for your table can enhance your overall adventure on this stunning island. Just grab a bottle of wine from a local shop and enjoy the view while you wait.

Experience the Magic of Sifnos

Visiting Sifnos and not stopping by Loggia Wine Bar would be an oversight. The combination of its charming setting, enticing wines, and vibrant atmosphere makes it a fundamental part of the island experience. Enjoying a glass as the sun dips below the horizon is a moment you won’t want to miss.

The Allure of Local Flavors

While enjoying a drink at Loggia, don’t miss the chance to explore the local culinary scene in Sifnos. The island is renowned for its delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Pairing exquisite local dishes with your wine will truly take your dining experience to new heights.

Capturing Memories

Be sure to bring your camera! The breathtaking views and charming decor provide multiple photo opportunities, whether you’re snapping shots of the panoramic vistas or candid moments with friends. Create memories and capture them with stunning photographs for your travel album.

A Bit of Caution

It’s wise to be aware that some guests have found the prices at Loggia on the higher side. However, many argue that the unique experience, beautiful environment, and quality of wine make it worthwhile. Ultimately, the choice lies in what memories you wish to create during your visit to Sifnos.

Venturing Beyond the Bar

If you’re looking for alternative viewpoints or quieter settings, consider exploring other locations in Kastro, as suggested by a few visitors. This can provide opportunities for additional photo ops and a more serene atmosphere, all while enjoying the picturesque surroundings.

In summary, Loggia Wine Bar stands out as a quintessential stop during your visit to Sifnos. Despite some contrasting reviews, the stunning views and extensive wine list are hard to overlook. 1. Quite possibly the nicest and most unique wine bar I’ve ever been to. Quite literally wine on top of the rock like they say.
Stunning views. Great choice of wines & great atmosphere. Highly recommend visiting if you are going to sifnos. Recommend booking , if not arriving for as soon as they open during the summer months. It opens at 7pm and people are queuing to get a seat. Very popular spot. Staff are lovely!

  2. Tourist trap. Plain and simple. An example of greed, someone who is trying to earn their yearly income in 8 weeks.

The view is stunning but, even though we had a reservation, they they told us we could not order any food, since they were overwhelmed orders and they didn’t have any water glasses so we had to drink from the bottle. To be fair the waitress did apologize and offered us the water bottle for free.

Basically, someone thought it was a good idea to turn a small pathway into a bar with only a wooden bench used to serve around 80 people. They also added two lines of tables (greedy, greedy, greedy) which ensures that people who walk by will knock you constantly.

Two overpriced and watered-down aperol spritz later we left since we were also hungry.

My advice is to go on the other side of Kastro and enjoy the view with a bottle of wine from the mini-market. Lower cost, better view, better serivce, no one knocks on you and the church of seven martyrs offers nice photo ops. The cats are also equally cute on both sides.😊

  3. Nice place to wind down and have an apertivo. If you want a seat by the edge then recommended to book. Not cheap as the other reviews will tell you, but how often are you in the stunning island of Sifnos. Enjoy yourself and drink nice wine in a nice location.

  4. The girl at the reception was very arrogant and rude! It is a really nice spot , but not more than others. It is a pity, sometimes a bit more kindness and well manners can make a good spot exceptional, in this case it has completely ruined all our expectations.

  5. I’ve been to Loggia a few times in previous years and enjoyed the wine and the lovely view at this spot. The last time I’ve been there I’ve requested to make a reservation at a different date, the lady at the reception “responsible for reservations” was very rude and arrogant seating on the floor steps while I tried to talk to her (politely and standing) saying in a very dismissive manner and tone they are fully booked until 25th August. Lady “responsible for reservations” at Loggia go outside your place and learn some manners after the end of August, all businesses must treat their prospective clients with respect otherwise you will gradually end up with no clients.
