I love this place, I have been here more times, but I have to tell big BUT. Since my first visit in 2015 it has changed very much, have to say to the worse.
Concrete steps are broken, they were replaced by wooden ones, these are broken too. In the end it’s quite dangerous. There is a small beach with a lot of thrash, there was also trash on the cliffs and even on the other beaches.
Snorkeling here is nice, you can put on yourself mud.
Be careful on falling sand from above and big waves.
We enjoyed there with my 4 year old son, but when he says;” Mum I don’t like all the rubbish here, let’s clean it” it’s really bad, when such a small child sees that. We collect as much as what we could carry somehow.
But I want to please you, take some bag with you and collect also something. There were too many people, taking selfies, sitting in the bar, everyone sees this trash.
Amazing sunset. We got a taxi from Sidari for €10 euros and sat on the path down to the beach. Someone proposed to their partner and everyone there clapped and cheered. So lovely. I then walked using Google maps back to Sidari. Well worth the taxi there and walk back. Looked very busy in bar and carpark. I would suggest to get there early.
Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Good vibe and with nice food. Not the biggest of menu but there were enough options to keep you satisfied. Loved loved the vibe.
Very beautiful place to visit for a nice sunset ! So beautiful
A nice spot to enjoy looking at the see and nature.. no swimming possibility… the wooden stairs are not very stable and can be slippery, you still can go all the way down but you only need to walk carefully and slowly.
