A Journey to Paradise: Exploring the Beach Experience
Welcome to the Beach Paradise
Embark on an unforgettable journey to one of the most picturesque beaches in the region! Known for its stunning scenery and crystal-clear waters, this beach is a popular destination for tourists seeking sun, relaxation, and natural beauty. However, it’s essential to equip yourself with the right information before you visit.
The Price of Comfort
The beach offers sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, an attractive option for those wanting to enjoy the sun in comfort. However, be prepared to pay around 20-40€ depending on the service you seek. Be mindful that some guests have found the prices to be unreasonable given the services provided.
A Service Gap
Feedback from visitors suggests there may be a lack of attentive service on the beach. While some may enjoy lounging on sunbeds, they may be disappointed to find there’s no option to order food or drink from the comfort of their chairs, requiring them to venture to the bar for refreshments instead.
Bring Your Own Basics
One recurring piece of advice is to bring your own beach essentials – towels, sun umbrellas, and blankets. For those who prefer a more budget-friendly experience, setting up your own space allows you to enjoy the beauty of the beach without incurring extra charges.
Beauty Amidst Challenges
While visitors have shared concerns about the overall management and cleanliness of the beach area, many still find the surroundings breathtaking. Nature lovers will be in awe of the beautifully rugged coastline and the invigorating sea breeze that characterizes the region.
Customer Service: A Mixed Bag
Experiences with staff at the beach vary widely. Some guests praised local attendants for their dedicated efforts, while others described encounters with rudeness. Travelers should maintain an open mind and consider that service experiences can differ greatly depending on the day and time of your visit.
Critique of Cleanliness
Despite its allure, visitors have noted concerns regarding the cleanliness of the beach. Reports of accumulated litter and debris near service areas might detract from the overall experience for some tourists. Bring your own blanket and be prepared to pick a clean spot for your enjoyment.
The Bathroom Dilemma
One of the most important factors when choosing a beach is restroom access. Currently, there are complaints about the lack of toilet facilities, with no shared access at the beach bar. Plan accordingly to avoid discomfort during your stay.
Spectacular Sunsets Await
As the day winds down, be sure not to miss the magical sunsets that the beach offers. The vibrant colors reflecting on the water create the perfect backdrop for a memorable photo, capturing the essence of your escape.
Engage in Local Culture
This beach isn’t just about sunbathing; it’s a hub for local culture and community. By visiting, you’re supporting local businesses, helping them thrive amidst economic challenges. Engage with the locals, discover their stories, and enjoy their warm hospitality.
Dining Experiences
While the beach may not offer service directly to your sunbed, it’s recommended to visit the beachside bar/restaurant for bites and drinks. Although some reviews mention service gaps, several visitors encourage perseverance, highlighting that they found the food delightful enough to merit the extra effort.
Meeting Fellow Travelers
Visiting this beach provides the chance to meet like-minded travelers. Engage in conversation with fellow sunbathers and potentially forge lasting friendships based on shared travel experiences and recommendations.
A Warning for the Environmentally Minded
Environmental enthusiasts may find this beach appealing, but be forewarned about the litter scattered across the sand. Taking the initiative to reduce waste and clean up during your stay could enhance the overall beauty of the beach for everyone.
The Great Decision: To Pay or Not to Pay
While renting sunbeds and umbrellas can enhance comfort, opting out may offer a more authentic beach experience. Feel the sand beneath your toes and embrace the natural surroundings as you create your own beautiful beach day.
Scenic Walks and Activities
For those who desire adventure, consider exploring the surrounding areas. Scenic walks and hiking trails are available nearby, providing a great opportunity to explore stunning landscapes beyond the shoreline.
A Destination for All Seasons
The beach caters to tourists in various seasons, with peak times bustling with activities and quiet months offering serenity for introspection and relaxation. Choose your time wisely to craft your dream beach experience.
Family-Friendly Fun
This beach is also a welcoming space for families. Children can frolick in the shallow waters, build sandcastles, or enjoy picnics by the shore. Families should plan ahead, as there are no on-site facilities to accommodate children’s needs.
Leave With Lasting Memories
Ultimately, your beach experience will depend on your expectations and the arrangements you make in advance. Focus on creating memories with friends and family, capture beautiful moments, and unwind in the serene natural environment that this beach offers.
Your Adventure Awaits
As you prepare for your beach getaway, keep these insights in mind. With a blend of stunning beauty, warm community spirit, and the potential for a rich experience, this beach promises a unique adventure. You’re on the brink of creating lasting memories—enjoy every moment of it!

Avoid at all costs. They charged 40€ for two sunbeds and an umbrella, then provided absolutely no additional service i.e. didn’t take food or drink orders. The bar also doesn’t provide a toilet. They’re the only operation on the beach, so you should plan to bring your own blankets and umbrella/shade. Don’t pay their extortionate prices.
On hot summer days Ifigenia and Maria were running up and down to take care of us. We loved the beach so we went there 3 times and we did not mind paying and supporting the locals. I mean we were paying an arm and a leg at Martha’s vineyard and we couldn’t even Swim!!!!!! The water was tooo cold!! So no complaining from our end and if you don’t want to pay there is room on the beach to bring your own umbrella.
The beach is wonderful but the staff here are lacking. We paid 20 euro’s for a couple sun beds + umbrella but we still had to visit the restaurant to place our food & drink orders.
I would still visit this beach but do not expect any service.
Spot is beautiful, but do yourself a favor and bring your own ombrella and towels. I feel like the staff is quite rude and the prices are just not worth it, especially considering that the patch of beach they cover is extremely dirty (plastic and other rubbish from the bar).
No bathroom in the area and they don’t share the key for the beach bar toilet. The owner is charging different prices on the first day 20 euros and the day after 25 saying its “supply and demand”. However, the beach is beautiful and the scenery breathtaking.
