Crystal Clear Waters and Stunning Views

The turquoise waters of Lindos Beach are a striking feature that draws visitors back time and time again. As Maria Alexiou noted, the warm water and scenic views of the nearby castle create a picturesque setting for a relaxing day by the sea. While the water may appear slightly green near the shore, it transforms into beautiful blue hues as you venture further out, allowing you to experience the natural beauty of this coastal paradise.

Dining Delights by the Shore

What better way to indulge in the beach experience than with delicious food and refreshing drinks right at your fingertips? At Lindos Beach, you’ll find several beachside restaurants where you can savor local cuisine while gazing at the stunning landscape. As Mike Robinson highlighted, these dining options make it convenient to enjoy a leisurely meal without straying far from your lounge chair. With bathroom facilities and snack shops also nearby, everything you need is within easy reach.

Peaceful Yet Vibrant Atmosphere

One of the highlights of Lindos Beach is its peaceful charm, even during busier hours. Visitors like Vuk B. appreciated the calm waters, making it a fantastic spot for families with children. While some areas can get crowded, the absence of loud music and distractions allows for a more tranquil experience. With four nearby restaurants catering to various tastes at reasonable prices, you can fully immerse yourself in the beauty and serenity of the beach.

Getting There – A Worthy Journey

It’s essential to note that access to Lindos Beach requires a bit of effort, as cars are not permitted right by the shore. Many visitors opt for the bus service, which involves a 12-minute scenic walk down to the beach. 1. Lots of beach umbrellas but come early as it does get busy. Each beach lounge is €20. The water is slightly green towards the same and becomes clearer and blue as you look outwards. This may vary of course depending on tides and weather. There are restaurants right on the beach so it’s easy to get food and drinks. There is no service at the beach lounges. Overall a nice family orientated beach.

  2. Beautiful sea! Amazing view to the castle. Warm water. Perfect for families.
But very unorganised, dirty beach. Very difficult to approach as they don’t let you drive by car, and you have to park 15 minutes far.

  3. Wonderful beach, very clean and tidy and the water is crystal clear. Fantastic views of the town and Acropolis.

There are several beach side restaurants, bathroom options (free & paid €0.50) and a shop with beach toys, snacks etc

Various boats are for hire, at reasonable prices.

    – 2x Sun lounger with parasol for hire €20
    – Paddle boat hire for 30 mins was €15

  4. sea is dirty on some spots but overal fascinating! Umbrella and 2 sunbeds are 20eur, only the first row is 25€. Until 12pm there were only the first row of sunbeds taken. It is busy after 2PM. Toilet 0,50€. Changing rooms exist(free). There is four restaurants and the prices are normal. There is no music or any fun on the beach. Very peaceful.
Bus- if you are coming by bus. You will have to walk around 12 minutes downstairs and when going back upstairs. It is truly exhausting.
