8. Be Prepared: Water Depth Awareness
Visitors should note that while the beach’s deep waters are perfect for swimming, they may not be ideal for families with small children. The water tends to deepen suddenly, as pointed out by several travelers, making it essential to exercise caution, especially with little ones.
9. Stunning Sunset Views
For those who enjoy a little peace and serenity, consider visiting Liapades Beach around sunset. As Ophélie Italiano observed, the beach becomes less crowded, transforming into a dreamy setting where the sun sets behind the cliffs—a perfect way to end your day.

11. Footwear Advice: Navigate the Terrain
While the beach’s pebbles add to its charm, visitors should consider wearing water shoes. As Zwirek notes, the pebbles can be tough on bare feet, especially when you’re walking to and from your beach spot. Come prepared for maximum enjoyment!
12. Assessing Cleanliness
While many visitors rave about the beauty of Liapades, opinions on cleanliness vary. While some travelers like Vadym Chen praise the stunning waters, others have noted that certain areas may not be as pristine as nearby beaches. It’s always good to set realistic expectations.
13. Social Vibes: Bars and Restaurants

Beautiful pebble beach with crystal clear water. There is a parking spot 1-2 minutes away from the beach. You can rent umbrellas with tables and sunbeds. There is a super snack bar on the beach (sandwiches, coctails, cold drinks etc..). There are also boat taxis and motorboats for hire on the beach. (Not recommend for families with small children because the water is cold and the water deepens suddenly.)
It is a really gorgeous cove. It’s a pebbly beach, so take your water shoes. The water is clear, but not as clean as in Paleokastritsa. There are two boat docks and two boat rental stands, so there’s a constant noise of boats arriving and departing from the beach. Half of the beach is occupied by paid loungers and umbrellas, which cost €20, although some people mentioned paying €15. We didn’t use them as there was enough room for our beach towels. You can take a boat taxi from here to Paleokastritsa. We paid €40 for a round trip for 3 people.
I went there around 6pm, it was less crowded at that time and very beautiful. The sun sets behind the cliff.
It hurts quite a bit to walk barefoot on the pebbles.
There’s 2-3 bars and restaurants.
Super nice place!
Not among the best beaches in Corfu.
It is kind of dirty, a pair of sunbeds and umbrella cost 20-25 EUR, more than on other nicer beaches.
The only good thing is that it’s a starting point for boat trips or rentals
AMAZING beach. Has a place where you can lay down with your own towels. Water is Chrystal clean. Here you’ll feel the difference between Adriatic and Ionic see as I felt. Water is holding you and it’s super nice to swim by hours. Highly recommend
