Loved this hotel, we have had an excellent trip ! Changed hotels to this last minute as the reviews were better and glad we did!
Food and drink on offer was great , the bar staff and hotel staff are all friendly and accommodating
Air con in the rooms was also fantastic
Only room for improvement I can suggest is with the daytime entertainment , lovely people running the entertainment but not much enthusiasm or bother to get holidaymakers involved
Also would be better if bottled water was replaced by cleaners when they come in the day , received 1 at the start of the trip but that was all
Although these points may have improved our stay, this does not take away from what a lovely time we had here and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future
I’ve had a fantastic experience at this gorgeous resort. Their hospitality is absolutely amazing with the most friendliest staff I’ve ever come across. I simply can’t falter anything. Great location with less than 30 minutes drive from Rhodes airport Ambient is just incredible. Food is always fresh and delicious with lots of choices. I will 100% most definitely return to Leonardo Kolymbia Resort. You are the best by far.
I’m sitting by the pool now, watching the cleaners mop the floor. It’s peaceful, the cicadas are singing and the sun is shining on the hills opposite.
It has been a beautiful stay. Our room and in fact the whole hotel is spotless. The staff seem genuinely happy to work here and it shows in the way they treat the guests.
Unlike some all-inclusive hotels, the drinks are good quality and the cocktails expertly made. We’ve been quite spoiled. The food is fresh and there’s a good variety for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. The cheese buffet always has sliced vegan cheese. Loads of fresh fruit and vegetables and local delicacies. You can eat as healthy or as decadent as you like.
The resort itself is lovely. Just enough bars to have a nightlife but it’s not rowdy or full of drunk people. It’s quite safe to wander around with your family at night. We caught to bus to Lindos one day which was only €4 per person one way. It’s well worth the trip.
The hotel has sunbeds on the beach just a few minutes away. Go out through the back gate, across the road and across the car park, turn left along the beach and then walk to the end of the sunbeds.
We’re leaving today and I’m genuinely sad to go. But we’ll be back. This has been a wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone at the Leonardo.
We had an incredible holiday at Leonardo Kolymbia. The hotel was beautiful and the level of service was exceptional.
I spent months looking for somewhere to go for my partner’s 30th birthday, along with our 2-year-old daughter. Leonardo appeared to tick all the boxes and it did not disappoint.
Food at every meal was delicious, and on lunches and evenings, it was always wonderfully varied. The hotel clearly values good chefs.
The pool area was always kept clean and tidy, and the pool bar was well-stocked with drinks and plenty of ice cream (to my daughter’s delight). Loungers were plentiful and we didn’t fail to find a couple that were available.
The staff made the experience really memorable, especially Merini who cleared tables. My daughter loved her the first time she smiled at her – she was genuinely a highlight of her stay! And all the dining room staff just did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly. Bar staff, both indoor and outdoor, were also friendly and experienced, and the lady who turned down our room every day arranged my daughter’s toys neatly on her bed, always making her smile when we came back to the room.
It’s the first time I’ve stayed anywhere all-inclusive, or even anywhere rated 5-star. It totally felt like a 5-star experience to me, and I’d gladly bring my family back again.
We just got home from a week at Leonardo & had the best family holiday. I’m a bit hesitant booking all inclusive stays because we’ve not always had the best experiences in the past especially with the food, but after lots of research I booked the Leonardo & so glad I did. Firstly the staff are amazing, I can see why they are so highly praised in the reviews. We got upgraded to a suite & the room was lovely, the hotel is exceptionally clean in all its areas. The animation team were our favourite, Antonio, Nicole & the rest of the group were so amazing with the kids. My daughter loved Nicole & said she was her favourite person, she was very sad to go home after having the best time. The food was really good, I’m shocked to see the latest review saying it was not good because it really was! Everyday they have great selections & change things up. The fresh fish, Stifado, all of it was so tasty! They clearly put a lot of thought & time into it. I guess you can’t please everyone sadly! But we personally found it very good. The beach is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel & is stunning, beautiful clear blue waters full of fish & even saw a sting ray. We would have mornings by the pool then go down to the beach mid afternoon, we miss the place already & said we would definitely come back because we had such a wonderful time. Thank you to the whole team at Leonardo for giving us the best family holiday!
