  1. What a great place! Very kind people and good service!
Only 1 small problem, we were there when they were renovating the entrance, so there was quite some noise, at random times.
    But besides that, wonderful! 😀

  2. Do not trust Kouros. We prepaid 3 month in advance using the Kouros website. On arrival: Oh you are the 3 night booking! There is a problem, you have been bumped to an old (Aloe) hotel 1.9km from Kathara beach. (Presumably to allow for someone else’s longer booking.) Moral; Do not trust Kouros with your money. Save it and go elsewhere.

  3. This hotel was just a mini paradise. We didn’t expect the hotel to look as good as it did.
    Pros –
Really good location, just a walk into town and great restaurants and bars close by. A small shop right beside the hotel also which was great.

The rooms were lovely and well designed. Great interior design and decor just made it look lovely.

Breakfast each morning was lovely. The two women serving the food and making it were very nice and attentive. Great range of food each day.

We had a room upgrade for two nights to a private pool room and this was on behalf of the hotel which was a lovely gesture.

    CONS
although we got a room upgrade to a pool room, we found multiple cockroaches in the room and we didn’t want to complain as we had been upgraded at no cost. We just kept checking everywhere for them. Truthfully I wouldn’t pay extra for a private pool room as the sun doesn’t hit it long during the day and you end up using the main pool anyway so I’m glad we didn’t pay for it for the week.
once we arrived it was late and no one was at reception we had to go and look for someone which was a bit frustrating after travelling all day. This was always the case anytime we needed someone to speak to and it was frustrating. Most time the staff were over in the restaurant across the road.
We also hadn’t had our sheets changed in a couple of days and we requested them to be changed 5 times between 2 days, eventually one of the guys changed them and they turned out were also dirty.
, but again didn’t have the heart to complain.
There wasn’t anyone at the bar most times also to get drinks ordered and there is a lot of work going on at the moment which didn’t bother us much but it was noticeable.

I think this hotel has great potential, cleaning needs to be improved, and attentive reception staff also. The work being done looked fantastic and I’m sure when it is completed it will be an even more amazing place to stay.
Overall the pros did overrule the cons. I would stay again

  4. My boyfriend and I stayed here for just over 10 days and on our arrival we had a room with broken air-con (pretty unbearable as we were on the top floor and heat rises). After a few tears from myself because I was exhausted from travelling, the owners eventually moved us to a room with a private pool. However I don’t think they would of moved us if I didn’t cry. We did have to move again 6 days later which was a bit of a pain having to pack all our stuff up again.

There was a lot of construction going on. We weren’t informed of any construction happening before going but to be honest it didn’t really bother us, it’s just not exactly what you want when trying to relax by the pool or on your balcony.

Cleanliness – the cleaners were lovely, however there were someone else’s used contact lenses and hair above our bed when we first got to our room. I think attention to cleaning details needs looking at.

Breakfast – Cook and waitress welcoming, overall good breakfast.

Location – 15 minute walk from the main bars and only a 3 min walk to the beach.

Also, you’d expect someone at the reception area at all times however that wasn’t the case when we arrived we had to go looking for someone. Then when we were leaving we asked if there was anywhere to leave our suitcases as we had a later flight. They just wanted us to leave them in the open area of the reception for anyone to see (or steal). So we asked to put them behind reception, but you’d think they’d have a secure room for guests luggage, as most hotels have.

I think for the price we paid I probably expected it to be at the higher end of a 3 star hotel. Apart from the problems on the first day and the details mentioned above, it was overall a nice stay, I just think it needs some work.

  5. Stunning hotel with amazingly friendly and helpful staff and beautiful rooms. Breakfast is good with great fresh omelettes. The pool and pool bar are very nicely laid out and taken good care of. Had an excellent stay there and would absolutely recommend to any single travelers or couples
