My fondest memory of the holiday is the owner of the house. We happened to be in the period in which Greece was hit by rains that destroyed many cities. The inhabitants got Skiathos back on its feet within two days. Areti and her mother were an inspiration: always with a smile and fortitude! Not to mention the delicacies that the mother prepared for us to ease the spirit. They also equipped us to deal with the rain. In all of this, Areti was perfect, the house was always tidy and clean. The apartment was in a great location and we enjoyed it when the sun finally came out. Would I go back?! A thousand more times…
