We spent 8 nights in this location, 4 people in 2 double rooms. The location is about the only good thing about Kostas Studios. It is close to the beach, close to the resaurants and shops, but still not right in the center so that is is quiet.
The cleanliness was lacking. I will not go into detail about how we found the toilet seat, but believe me it was terrible. We all put gloves on and did a thorough cleaning of the place, put our own bed sheets and towels.
Continuing with the bathroom, the shower was broken and water was pouring out of maybe 3 or 4 directions. Since we did not have a shower courtain or glass, the bathroom was always wet or moist at best. The bathroom had MOLD. And it smelled like MOLD. Black mold= health hazard.
The mold was present in the cupboards and other furniture, in the bedroom and everywhre in the room. People sensitive to mold may have severe reactions, thankfully we were ok but we worried about it.
Spider webs all around, but they were actually nice as they caught the mosquitos.
As we arrived amd saw the rooms, we requested to be given the rooms presented on the site. The elderly woman called her daughter and, while we cannot speak greek, we understood well enough they were talking about our nationality and how they refused to give us the better rooms. I should point out that only one other room was being occupied throughout our stay, so no harm to the “business” would have been inflicted. Thus BEWARE OF THE RACISM.
Overall I DO NOT RECCOMEND.
Perfect location and amazing view! Only this, I have no comments for the room, the hospitality, the cleaness. Unfortunately it wasn’t a very good experience
The view over the Vasiliki port is beautiful from the balcony of the room, but that’s about all there is to it.
The rooms are very small, with ancient furniture, the bathroom is horror.
We asked for a triple, but we got a 2 person bed and one that was somehow hidden underneath and it felt like I was sleeping almost on the floor.
Although our sheets and towels were changed regularly, because of the small bathroom everything was constantly moist.
Totally not worth it.
The worst hotel ever for many reasons:
1) the bathroom was very bad. there was no shower cabin, you had to hold the shower head in your hand to wash. the towel placed above the toilet is something unhygienic. please put the bathroom key on the door.
2) very old, unfurnished and very ugly rooms.
3) very bad wifi
4) there was a small kitchen but almost all equipment inside were broken.
5) none of the beds had sockets to charge the phone next to, and there were only 3 or 4 sockets in the whole room.
6) it was very difficult to find someone to help you in that building. you can only find them when you come on the first day because they want payment.
You cannot pay 70 euros per day for those conditions just for the view.
we wanted to stay longer but with those conditions we were forced to leave after only 1 night
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone
Located in best position in Lefkada – Vasiliki,this place gives you all what you need, great room with sea view,A/C, kitchenette, in one word great value for money! Definitely recommend!
