I and my mate did our PADI Open Water Dive Course here. We choose the center because we were going on vacation on the island but were impressed by the quality of the experience. George, Tatiana and all the staff at Kythira Dive Center are lovely people, amazing instructors and expert divers always with the right words for you: it might be a joke, a comforting sentence if you struggle in the learning process, information about the marine life…or jokes. They are among the funniest people we met in the island. Their briefings were extremely clear, and the dive sites we visited after practicing the skills were simply breathtaking. We look forward to come back and dive again with them.
Me and my 12 & 13 yo boys have been diving all summer in the Greek islands but the Kythera Dive Center and its crew was by far the most professional dive shop!!
We had a miscommunication over a booking but the owner, George, stepped up to the plate and took us on a special private dive to Red Complex which was amazing!
Tatiana was our dive master and absolutely amazing diver and really went above & beyond for me and the boys!!
I didn’t realize I had my non-dive watch on until we were out on the boat. I accidently left it on the boat and George even paid to have it delivered to the port for me!!

I am dive master and my view is somewhat more demanding than nominal divers. I experienced a really professional service. The dive center is well organized the dive site was beautiful and my guide was exactly as she should be. Nice experience. Thank you guys. I hope to dive with you soon again.
My husband and I were visiting Kythira for a week and stumbled upon this dive shop. I have been certified since I was 14 and have been trying to convince him to do the same for years. Immediately after meeting Tatiana and George I told him he MUST at least dive with them once. After the first intro dive he was convinced and signed up to do the full certification. Tatianas energy, thorough and calm instruction, and incredible ease in the water made the entire experience unforgettable. We dove the red complex, the eggs, and Hydra and all were amazing and unique in their own way. If you have ever considered scuba diving this is the place to do it. We hope to be back again!!
There are two things to mention here. The first is the beauty of the sea – clean, crystal clear, with lots of colourful fishes and – if you are lucky – sea turtles. The other is the school. Our instructor was Tatiana. As beginners, not only did we not feel scared or stressed, but we left there determined to practice diving more often. Her energy is exactly what we needed to get comfortable under the water. She is understanding, patient and fun. 100% will go back
